Sure their music works great on the dance floor, but I still prefer some variety @ parties and not 10 alike tracks in a row.. I want more than massive bass & bpm combination.. I want emotions, I want something psychedelic.. Sure uplifting tracks are nice, but GMS isn't the master of those either..

true.
my point here, i think, is that GMS have a 1:6 ratio for good tracks...           "We Do Not Allways See Things As They Are. We See Things As We Are" -Ancient Chinese Proverb

traveller your still pist about them not showing up in finland and hod gavriel you have no idea what your talking about gms works in the studio 18 hours, a day not enough effort! they also have riktam, bansi, shanti ,earthling, deedrah, and bushman, plus chicago all living in the same area so they have loads of inspiration to constantly make music plus they just work harder then most of the other artist
HOD GAVRIEL you couldnt be farther from the truth but then again you dont know them so you dont have any idea what your talking abour

I totally agree with Seth, only someone who didn't never tried to write music will say that another artist doesn't put an effort in his music. Even if it's Formulaic music like GMS's music is accused to be.
I'm sorry but i can mention a lot of Psy Artists whom music is atleast as formulaic as GMS's.
That's just stupid accusations. Don't love them? Go and listen to something else.
--> Seth, you mentioned collaboration with Dado... Is there's something interesting that you can tell us?           Everyone in the world is doing something without me

I am sorry seth, but as much as i find your post informative, it's an offensive one by all counts. no one is trying to disrespect GMS here or bash them. the thread was originally about why you like or like not GMS. meaning personal taste calculations. hod was incorrect in his post, granted, but please, don't lash out on people. be cool, drink some water, take a deep breath ( ) and relax. respect others and ye shall be respected

Well since GMS is one of those groups that people really like or dislike I thought that you people (the ones who actually enjoy their music) could tell me what is it that makes it good..
by far I've heard absolutely nothing.. only that "One of their best qualities is how they master their sound. And you can check it out at any party. The equalization is just perfect to me."
If that makes a good act.. well I would name it WEAK & LAME!
