hahhaha so i gues u r one, all i said that its not prog ,that all . i go 2 partys over 10 years so 6 years ago u didnt know what is prog at all, just somthing u hear from your friends, maby "baby". |

and go to cinema and found out that it is romantic comedy ...WTF i wan't my money back  ...from time to time i wan't something lighter than psy triller... and there is a good
romantic comedy as well ...but not when i expect a psy triller ...so there is a time and place for any kind of music ...but no house on the trance festivals or parties ...
don't cheat me no more ...if i wan't house i 'll go to ibiza not trance festival

ok munfist,before six years there wasnt prog and fullon,it was all psytrance(though sensient was strictly minimal,as it is nowadays  )
all i wanted to say is that now things have nothing to do in comparison with how was it six years ago.in 2006,atmos has nothing to do with psytrance.claim that atmos and logic bomb is in the same genre nowadays and i will apologise humbly!
is it???

2. logic bomb start as goa trance.
3. atmos change there style evry albom. (experiance)
4. progresive trance = progresive house, just bpm diffrent.
5. there is a lot of trance style (electro,dark,tech...)
all good, but evry style have a time & a place.
6. all style is good as long it is psychedelic.
7. young ppl like 2 kick ass, while old ppl (not all) like prog 4 drink,X & girls (finaly the music is not banging & psy so they can enjoy)
8. is it logic? |

man,we have progresive trance parties here in greece and i can ashure you that ppl are having a blast in the dancefloor.maybe you still have not attended the proper prog trance party(kind of weird though,since you re going to parties for more than 10 years ...)

Maybe u dont like the real psy style, then why do u think u know anything about psy trance?
The ppl that came from dance & house love prog, while some ppl came from heavy music like metal,rock,techno... It instantly attracts them 2 heavy psy such as dark, tech & full-on.
I like full-on, but not cheesy tracks, I have been in many prog parties but they weren't so good. For me the music makes the party. And as 4 your question I dont have a "degree" but I have been in alot of parties in many countries and today I cant go 2 a good psy party because its all prog, the same as house (same energy,ppl...) Not all your answers are correct, u can progress on the same place & u will not get anywhere.
Check what u right before you write it.
All I want to say to you is that prog is not even attempting to be in the same category as psy.

Unfortunatelly the amount of artists that make progressive trance and stick to their Goa/Psy roots is very very limited.
Sensient, Beat Bizarre, Vibrasphere, Ace Ventura, Perfect Stranger and perhaps very few more. The rest are trying to gap the bridges with Elecro/House whatever. Unfortunatelly very few do it properly ie Antix, Ticon and Son Kite. There's also the Prog On which is nothing but a step kid of the aforementioned.

they r psy. good prog came 4 night or sunset in a student party or some bar!! not out door with head full of mushroom & ofcours i mean the house kind!(that what is playing today in the partys!) 10 years ago there some prog comming out of england, very psy & sound like goa. most pepole then didnt like it 4 some reasan but today u can pot club trance & the same pepole that didnt like 10 years ago just now so the "light" & like it today!! hahah so pls dont give ppl house, club or prog that is not psy, in psy partys !!
is the same of someone that like heavy metal and go 2 a rock consert. its a matter of tast but there r prog&full on that is not psy and 4 me there place is in a sterio of 16 years old or 30+ that dont know what is real psy trance (there r a lot of ppl how think that club or house is psy trance!)

yes............i absolutely would call atmos, sonkite, sensient, scs all prog........yes there is minimal as well..........
but yes.........DEFINITELY PROGG
you see, a track can be considered Progressive when the track "progresses" along.....it will build up with kickdrums, bass lines, pads, psychedelic samples and etc...... this is why it is called "PROGRESSIVE".......because it progresses.....
do you understand?
the samples, synth and pads are elements that can make it "psychedelic"......
hence "psychedelic progg"......
there are many minimal artists that use minimal styles with there psy....and once again they use a PROGRESSIVE format while still keeping it minimal and using samples and etc to make it psychedelic......."PSY MINIMAL PROGRESSIVE"....
you probably still wont understand.......

News flash - 3rd empire is not the only orginization making outdoor prog events, with mayhem on the dancefloor on 135 bpm.We also have Underground Team,Beat culture,Badolina/Flowers & bicycles......
and others are popping up as we speak.
and this is only in israel - many places around the globe make weekly full-prog parties,in which people dont get bored with a full progressive line up.

Nevertheless i agree with u on this one ... a good party should be a journey and should start from lower bpms,go into the nightish phase (today its mostly dark music but i personally prefer the Zenon sound at this point) then get to some good full-on act/s > then cut to prog till the end of the party.
This is how a proper journey should be,imho of course.
having said that,TAZ festival prooved u can still make the journey work with a full progressive lineup(with a little bit of u-recken thrown in for good measure).
There are many people who won't get bored with this the whole party man...
your'e not one of 'em, but they walk among us! and u cannot stop them!!! muahahaha

i agree mostly for zenon sound on night time
but Why complicated things when they can be so simple ...couse we have a GOA trance for daytime , sunset , night , morning ... a whole journey with one style so similar yet so different
and there is also progressive GOA like Amenia
for example !!!
