lol shift fart fart trance. at least that fart trance doesn't consist of at most 3 layers at a time including the bass and an eardrum bursting deathsnare. but hey, why not just add an industribe and someone else's melodies and then call it psy. dunno wat ur doin, but ur music is neither dark or psychedelic. oh ja, and your last 36 tracks sound kinda the same

*- my last 36 tracks: hmmm thats about 3 albums;; pitch hikers,, twisted system,, and shift ( due soon ),, so i challenge u to tell me that all those tracks sound the same when u actually get a chance to listen to them properly. Then add in the few house tracks i have sold in the last few months, put in some kwaito and tech stuff too,, and i dont know that your comment about my music all sounding the same is very qualified at all
*- sure i like sometimes to "cover" other peoples tracks,, i hear it all the time,, so whats wrong with me making my version of tunes and melodies that i enjoy?? there's no real commercial gain belive me, it makes no difference,,, i just want to have a laugh and entertain people while i'm at it
*- and as far as my intelligence is concerned lets just say i dont have an honours degree and tripple major cos i'm stupid,, and yes i like my food too,, do u have a problem swallowing all of this??

While I don't think you should be taking it so personally that Shift isn't writing the music that you like, I do encourage you to continue posting. It's always fun watching irrational people try to justify themselves. I think you might have a hormone imbalance.
Anyway, I listened to the tracks you gave as a reference as your favourite artists and I've gotta say, I thought they were pretty shit. It reminded me of the stuff I used to write 6 years ago when I first got Fruity Loops and was smoking so many bongs I couldn't even spell my own name. So if I was Chris I'd take it as compliment that you thought my music was bad.

By the way Shift, really digged yir set this last weekend, Slug also rocked!
As for the Hydraglyph boys, lank sorry I missed yir set, but the rainy weather was getting a bit dodge... Heard it rocked tho.

when timecode puts "evil overlords of psy" on the flyer for a HALLOWEEN party,, i dont think u should get too excited about actually being scared,,, thats not our intention,, its about fun,, and exhiliration,, and whetever else we tink will entertain,, sorry if we dissapointed 
as the first dark music label in southa africa i guess its natural that a few fans are disspointed that timecode dont frighten them quite as much as we used to,, but in all honesty, we're getting older and bored with just nasty noises and fast beats,, and probably even trance in general as well... we want to make music that pleases us first ,, and if people liek it then great,, if they dont then whatever
so if u were expecting evil fucking trance ,, u came to the wrong place,, perhaps insane is a better description of the music, and even then if u listen to a lot of crazy music then i guess it wouldnt make u mad when it make most other people foam at the mouth,,, maybe u need to listen to death metal or somethig if ur looking to be scared,, anyway,, i'm not really into that "evil" stuff as u call it anymore,, so stop telling me that i'm not dark enough,, when u gonna get it?? i write what i feel like
,,, oh yes and i do like singing in my new stuff,, but not so much in the trance cos that can be a bit cheesy,, and no i dont have a rock band yet,, but that might be an idea considering the support i get from people like u and code a... would that offend u guys,, ?? cos it seems that everything else i do does
anyway,, i'm a bit surpised by all the insults,, but hey i guess thats what u get for being sucessfull,, take the good with the bad..

I tried to read all of this thread.. but I got bored... all this mud slinging.... handbags at dawn is it?? 
all I know is this..... there is NO money in PsyTrance... so no one can be doing it for 'Comercial / Financial' gain..... Any artist that creates for the sake of pleasing his audience is not an artist but a Whore, and diserves no respect..... (This is obviously NOT the case with all artists so far mentioned above by our 'Esteemed' PsyTrance Analysts "Mandork" and "Code Arse")...
...most Artists ~ and I mean people who create (that means all mediums ~ music, poetry, writing etc) are generally quoted as saying that they hope their work "provokes a thought or a response" from the audience, listener, reader, viewer or whoever....... So Congratulations to our South African 'Evil Overlords' (heheh ) they seem to have done just that!!

Maybe im not south african but I can tell you that this shit doesnt belong there....
I dont like alot of artists music but i have TONS of respect to anyone who makes music and releases it.
wihtout mentioning any names ( I think everyone knows who im talking about) the guys that keep shitting on everybodys work go to israel and see what this kind of behaviour has done to the scene.
take that negative shit somewhere else...everybody will gain.
