Would you say all these things to people's faces?

Your comments are so unconstructive that it ends up being completely useless to everyone.

The fact that you are an anonomous person on the internet tuning all these "brave" things totally degrades what you are saying. You are dissing everybody left and right(Some harsh dissing for that matter). You can't be dissed back because nobody knows who you are.

Foul play!

My name is Gerhard Olivier(Lost&Found)

i think code A is being very constructive with his critism

there always will exsist good and bad critism, if you cant take the bad ....and brush it off without having to restort to gay jokes....or watch out or the industry wil lget you, then seriously how old are you? grow up!

skazi gets more jokes made about him than merrick the elephant man and he doesnt give a shit....he laughs at it...and he trys to make jokes bak which make us laugh at him more, but still....he doesnt care...i made lank jokes about skazi and i spoke to him the one day on MSN and i tuned him i was th eone making all the gay jokes about him and he laughed it off...so come on....
code A is hardly aking gay jokes about any of you....he is voicing his opinion and he has a right to that, i do believe along with him that the stuff coming out of south africa is hardly psychedelic....its hard trance with a fullon israeli bassline an dsome squelch sounds...the same styled melodies and blah blah....it does get monotonous and boring after awhile....

as far as the trend grabbers go....hell yeah the SA scene is there...its the new hard house...and lik ehard house it will die and the money will stop coming in when the next TREND arrives on the scne, thats the way the way trend grabber partiers work....aaa

anyways who am i to say how it is or isnt.

Ok, satanboy, you cannot possibly compare slugs set at the vort to earthdance, not even pitch hikers in general as there was, firstly, no shift, and secondly, slug isn't usually known for playing like he did at infected. I’m also not insulting you directly, but all the people like you, those image seekers. Fuck, I know so many of you guys and I put up with u, but I don't have to like you, especially not here on the net. People like you go hand in hand with the shit they call psytrance at the moment. Seriously, take your drugs and shut up.

Do you even know me? If you did you wouldn't talk such absolute bollocks. Image seeker..bah!

Good bye!

@l337/code a(if ya not one and the same person,u might aswell be): U critisize the current standard of psytrance production at the moment - you're a musician,so let's hear your stuff.U R seriously mislead if U think it's only producers defining psytrance;us punters choose what albums we wanna buy and what parties we wanna support by the line-ups they choose.Without us,U R just a hobbyist.Commercialism supports a scene and is an indication that the scene is succeeding.Of course we need boundary-pushing and experimental psytrance, but please don't make a whole party out of it.U might think the stuff U produce is the shit, but that doesn't mean it's gonna go down with the scene or get U gigs.
As for this personal attack on s@tanboy:he is more of a genuine person without image obsession than U will ever be.
Maybe if U step back from this selfish outlook on the scene,U will actually get more out of it.And from reading your posts here,U could do with it.

i think the standard of psy is fucked world-wide, not just s.a , its not psy, its hard dance, which people call psy...

as far as the punters saying what they like in the scene and what they dont...you dont real have a choice....the dj serves up to you what he wants you to listen to, and producers make cd's that they want you to listen to...so you say you have a choice,.,..but if it all sounds the same, then you dont have a choice do you ???

i personally think all the timecode stuff sounds lank the same for the last few years, no evolution....and it wasnt really psycedelic to begin with i dont think

what a laugh

why so serious everyone??

i dont care what he (code a) says,,, sure its a bit harsh,, but hehe,, look what a support crew there appears to be

i noticed he hates the "commercialism" in trance and clearly he doesnt think much of our 'stark raver' (george lucas darth vader rippoff),, but thats ok cos we think its funny

if we were really trying to be the evil overlords of trance then i dont think people would really come to the party,, do u?? -- or was it false adrvertising!!

i dont think we are under any obligation to make what anyone else considers to be psytrance are we??

what a joke - i mean, wheres the contract?? is that our job description?? did we offend the voting public?? - really its all quite silly - its just music ,, if u dont like it and are dissapointed then try listening to something else,, but you shouldnt tell artists what to make... its called respect for personal taste - thats like telling brian lara how to bat, telling him he holds the bat wrong (it might be ok if ur kallis or ponting - but not if ur jacob zuma)

............

now back the point of this thread,,

if i had to choose ONE of my fav s.a artists at the moment it would be....

Skragg has been releasing tracks....and i have personally been playing some of his unreleased and getting the GREATEST compliments from MANY MANY people off the dancefloor.

So...really mate.....what the fuck you on about then hey?

Eeveryone thinks that THEY KNOW the scene.

Trust me....you have NO IDEA!

This whole idea that an artist/producer has a responsibility to the public or a genre of music is completely crazy. But a lot of people seem to get really offended when an artist changes direction or does something they don't agree with. When Bob Dylan plugged in an electric guitar half his fans took it as a personal insult. An artist's only responsibility is to his/her art, to create works that they think are worthwhile and that will convey whatever message they want to get out there. If you don't like it or it doesn't conform to what you think a certain genre is that's fine, but to get all pissed off about it is just ridiculous. Quality is the important thing, genre is just a guide so people can know what to expect.
