I agree, that eventhe best guide can have a bad day and is not always guaranty for a safe journey, afterall they are 'only human' too.

Here I disagree with you. It might be your opinion, but is not how these terms are commonly used in psychology.

Well..ok, we are about to hit deep waters here, i think that this new subject it's more likely belong to the realm of Existentialism rather than psychology, what a human being contains beside his outer shell (brain included here). because working with Ego and/or Perceptions of reality is a much more complex than understanding normal/abnormal human behavior in this world with laws of the human society and Ethics based on past experience.
i will simplify(hopefully) my point :
what is Ego? I want something to myself(no?)
so is it a desire? because if it is, then a human being is just a vessel that contains within itself the Consequences of his desire, the Ego itself never stops or reduced, but advance forward. Now after i look at my thoughs here, well i am wrong saying that Ego=self sorry.

after reading this thread i seriously thinking stop djing. come on guys ?? whats wrong ? what ego ? what ?
dj is same guy as you, just one that like music so much he cant just listen to it.. its not enough... it is a guy who listen and collect records years, speaking, eating and breath music.. and one day its already too much, u cant just continue do nothing.. u buy a equipment and start practice, its take time.. then u start dj at small parties for free and blah blah.. its not that easy!!! its not that wrothy in money case!!! its not so social respectfull.. but its for you!!!

and yes as in every human soul there is ego factor in any dj soul.. yes i do like big promo or good money for gig, i like when ppl talk about me and that my music clasificated as good.. what wrong with that ? should we all just enjoy drugs and care nothing ?
