Hey man, Ableton 8 is released about 2 months..
IMO The software don´t are important...
All DAWs are very similar...
the tool is not important, but what you do with that tool...

i also used soundforge just to try but i dont really need it.And when you accept the agreement i found out you agree on not ever distribute the product to iran,north korea and all the evil countries.LOL
why the fuck?
they will blast us with sony sound waves?
i don't know all cubases i used always crash and show me bluescreen so i gave it up.anyway i used it only for remixing the material it is nice for editing the wave.

Just out of curiosity, has anyone messed around with Live 8 enough to confirm that the sound rendering engine is as improved as they say? I'm curious as to how Live 8 stacks up to Cubase for example in terms of quality rendering, etc.

Hey! i use Cubase Sx3, FL8, Reason 4, Adobe Audition
I also like Nuendo....
sometimes for a track i can make sounds in all different appz and sequence it all in Cubase...

I agree. Once you learn your way around it, and learn to use the hotkeys(or make your own), it has the fastest workflow of any DAW out there. I can compose an entire tune in a day or two, whereas it took atleast a week in Cubase to do the same amount of work. It feels more like a musical instrument than a piece of software. |
