So to answer this question we must first ask what does "psychedelic" mean. The etymology tells us that it means "That which manifests the [psyche]"
The word "psyche" encompasses all concepts of "mind" "spirit" "soul" etc... so psychedelic music is that which manifests the mind, spirit or both.
Now my question for you...
...doesn't all *good* music do this?

Psychedelic is a complex word consisting from two other words(in ancient greek). The noun psyche- wich means soul and the verb delo- wich means run. Run of the soul. Every good music can make the soul fly so I guess what we probably mean when talking about psychedelic,I'd say is music that has many different 'points of view' at the same time and is wisely complex or empty
