Oh! And most of them rip all kinds of popular music, not only psytrance. Piracy is killing psytrance, the same way as it's killing other genres and movie producers. Psytrance will survive as all other genres have!

what's wrong with downloading albums? you'd have to be retarded to buy an album without listening through it first.. 99% of the stuff I download, i listen to it once, realise it's a piece of shit and delete it. If i REALLY like it or if i want to use a track off it in a set i'll buy. |

This statement makes me shudder and I'm not totally sure why.
All the albums I have that have stayed with me the longest are the ones I bought without listening... there's nothing like the feeling of getting an album that you've been waiting to be released for months home from the store and playing it for the first time.

maybe it makes you shudder cos you realise we live in a genre where there's so much shit being released that the chance of you actually picking up something good without listening to it first is infinitely small? i mean hell yeah of course i'll buy the new album of artists i love without listening to it first, ie wu tang clan's latest album, or within the genre loud's latest album. but when i'm scouring 100s of dark relases for 3 or 4 kickass tracks there's no fucking way i'm gonna buy them all.. |
