Pointy do you know the difference between remind more and sound like ?

so i will rephrase

from all so called psychedelic genres we have now fullon is more close to be old time music .

EYB it is not taste it is objective statement old music is much more muscial and emotional than new while new much better produced ...

I didn't say 'sound like', I said does not 'remind' me. But since I also wrote "boring to my ears", you got a point there.

rephrase: it doesn't remind me of old time goa, 'cause it is too polished therefore not psychedelic for me and also it sounds boring to my ears.

may i answer this as well? some fullon often reminds me of the old days, in case of melodies. the difference is that these "newer" melodies are mostly not as complex and diverse as they used, today we hear more and more boring melody loops without any changes during their play.
there's also some progressive having a similar atmosphere like old trance music. for example, older bitmonx stuff ("it") - midijum) or segment ("the gelfling" - zma) as well as some freq, sensient and sun control species grabs my balls straight and sends chilling shivers down my spine...
...but after all i think our music got more and more cold during the latest years....people are too focussed on quality and dancefloorkilling basslines than beautiful melodies and real, deep feelings. we cant discuss about this...its just too subjective i think...but these are my dimes. R.

"Lot of old goa is boring, and bad produced."

well, i agree on the production. some artists always had good production, but many of the classic tunes just sound weak now, especially in the mix. i try to mix in classic tracks when playing at gigs and making demos, but the old tunes often sound shit because they have tiny kickdrums and whatnot.

Just had dinner mmhhh
To answer the question: examples for what reminds me of 'old time goa' are:

Battle of the future Bhuddas
Spindrift
Mr.Peculiar
Misted Muppet
some of the finnish stuff too

Some of it is my favourit music too. Still I'd like to make clear, that I don't think that the only good trance music is the one which reminds of the old days, or that everything which does remind of it is also good.

I'm saying post are narrow cause your very opinionated. I'm not speaking of this thread alone but others. You continuely mention... "If you don't like it, then don't listen to it!". Any person with common sense would have done this long ago, which I think most have who feel the same as I. It's certainly a simple conversation that you continuely turn in to an opinion war, which we all know will have no end. Rather than force your opinion down other peoples throats... Listen, and conversate. I didn't mean to offened you, but point out something you may not be aware of how you present yourself to others. Take care.

PS. My post was not narrow as I am open to listen and understand other people, unlike yourself. That's the difference, so think before you post about my threads.
