Instead of agree or disagree on this one, i´ll give you something that has been somewhat of an awakening for me, just a great feeling:) the cause of this is something i recommend you to try: B.l.t And Danni Makov - Anything U Want.

The music is shit nowadays so we will continue to shit about it and nothing will change ............
better go make some psy alone .......... back in old times
i bet many artists now try to make something that Space Cat , Xerox , Astral , Hallucinogen ... made in past but nothing comes out because this music was creative not like now so try to be creative and musical ...................
do not shit in place u live in ............

Well i agree with you 1000% most psy that gets released this days sounds the same mostly fullon everyone wants to be like GMS ,Astrix ,Infected Mushroom you get my piont!!!
The reason it's becomming like this is because the scene is starting to be commerciallized many people want to make money from psy so they make music like artist that are "famous" in the scene and I agree with you that the quality releases lately are ambient releases.
If your looking for some intresting you can try in Progressive -Freq , Sound Control Species , Preacox , Sensient , Tetrium , Evil Drug Lords.
If your looking for some dark psy faster bpm and more powerfull -Toxic , Dronebixie , Azax Syndrom , GOW , Jahbo , Insane Behavior , Seroxat , Bug Funk , Osom, Freaking , Para Halu , Parasense , Psychotic Micro , Winter Deamon , Quasar , Ocelot , Penta and many more!!!

There ARE some good artists these years. Than again it depends on your taste right?
I dont think its right to condemn ppl if their into the full-on scene. I mean,come on man, that doesnt make them any less worthy . I personally really like Rinkadink and the Younger Brother albums.And OTT is superb!!
But i know ppl who into Skazi, Exaile and the like .They more than enthusiastic, mi amigos.
So what if they into stuff i dont like. Big deal!!! Dont give me the right to call them SHit -lovers does it??

yeah this is not a matter of taste if i like pleiadians and the old scholl i also like one of the best releases so far this late years freq.but the question is not that the question is that there are so many releases and every one sounds the same.and i agree with someone that says that the best late releases are ambient like ott and sphongle
and EIB has a matter of fact i download the latest releases and if i like them ill buy if i dont i just simply delete them from my hard disk what ocurres often ...what dont come to tell me that you are against downloaded music and that is illegal .let me tell you i am a sound supporter and in dj and producer cabins in parties i see alot of artists and well known djs using copies.in this you see that the old scholl lovers are not agains any digital and computers by the oposite in the old days we have to buy it and now simply download it and buy it if it worth it and dont think that i dont buy cds because a buy cds every month but not psy full on dark whatever |

commercialization does make music become bland.. i think that the 'good ol'vibe' and stuff like that had a lot to do with the sound being new and interesting, because if the sound is new, then everyone listening&dancing to it would be excited in it, and share the same feeling. now, with commercial muzic and commercial parties, people are already used to the soundz they hear, which results in people not sharing that feeling of 'experiencing something new together..' which disperses the vibe..
i think a possible solution is to find the underground parties, where people play and mix with freedom... places like that are probably where good new stuff come out... hmm. maybe a bit off topic.. and maybe lots of people will disagree, but this is just something that came to mind when i read this thread.

I completely agree with Hod Gavriel here.
Sputer, do you actually pay attention to what's coming out these days? You'd realize you were talking shit! Albums like the ones from Kooler, Son Kite, Vision & Canedy, 12 Moons and the list goes on and on. All great! I even think these albums are some of the best the scene has produced so far, and that's counting the 'glory' years back in 1996/1997 as some of you might call them. We have better sound production these days, artists have matured. Okay, most of the great music out there is progressive nowadays, but open your ears sometime... you might notice they are very good!!

Acidhive don't forget tha everyone have his own taste , for example i think Son Kite album is shit... sorry same as Kooler which is Son Kite too .......
Vision and Canedy has nothing to do with Psychedelic Trance it is Progressive House ......
Hadshot is Progressive House label for few years now ..................

Best bet is keep listening to the older style, which is what I do. New psy is pathetic and low in quality (musically, and emotionally).
You'll never win this fight as the newb's of the scene have taken over, and sold psy out to the no brainer quick fix dance track esctasy crowd. |

Thanks for all the recomends ppl, that was actually the purpose of my post in the first though, if my post offended some of you who don't think the same, well you are absolutly right and totally wrong at the exact same time, but who cares, i am too tired and too old from this stupid shit anyway, so until the next pleiadians/posford collabration, you will never see another ranting like this from me, i will surly find something else to dis about.

My meaning in all this is that you might, during the years in the scene, get overwhelmed by all music that is produced.
I can take my father for example who's been listening to rock for all his life through. But now and then he just stops, and takes new imressions from other horizons. Why? I asked him once and he sad: "Some day you come to that point when everything just sounds the same..." . However. He allways, after som time, goes back to the old good rock.
