dms25 - you quit the green 11 days ago and you have been smoking all day since 5 years back,...
sure you feel a little lost mate 
dont worry too much, you got big nobel plans, and very demanding they sound aswell..
maybe you could start a organization and make your quest a little easier by letting others help you to reach your goal, building a network all over the world.
Good luck with your quest, and give your mind some time to adjust to not being high, cause the first months can be very intense, you can even become a little stupid without cannabis, i noticed that when smoking a joint after beeing away from it for a while, it really puts perspective on things, its like a enlightment.. but nothing comes from nothing, so just thinking about what you want to go wont take you there..
iv been smoking cannabis for 7 years, but not constantly.. haha, its a nice mind stimulation and i rather smoke a joint and get a little deep than to drink alot of alcohol and feel like i aged 20 years in 24 hours.. haha
though i like to take a Baileys and a joint, or a martini and a joint...
i might live in a big dream, but it dont worry me, i see others and they are in a big dream them selfs, so we are all there, some accept what life in society has to offer and goes with the flow, but still they constantly bitch about it... other wants to break free and they often notice that things isnt better on the other side, its only good when its good, and its never good 24/7
Life is certainly a big paradox, we hate and still we love.

I don't understand why people feel that "being normal" is going to impede their love for the music?
I realise that there are a lot of "extreme thinking" people in the scene, but seriously, there are more choices between doing nothing besides smoking joints 24/7 on top of necking tabs every week... and moving away from it all in order to start a family and a career.
Don't generalise and use stereotypes. People that are making money, are not all yuppies that have nothing exciting going on in their lives, besides their careers.
People that are party goers are not all drug addicts that have no chance of providing enough for their family (if they ever start one) and are one drop away from losing their minds.
Its not the music's nor society's fault if you can't strike a balance in life. The only reason you are not happy in your life, is you...and if things seem hard, well you just have to put more into it.
When the going gets tough, the tough get going.

There are times we all ponder & discover the reasons for being here in the physical world, in fact that is the purpose of the soul, thats to VENTURE......
The day we come face 2 face with the universal reality of being phyisically present, it again comes to our choice to stay or to leave......
Experience is what we are all here for, we create our own experiences called life, depends on how u create, can be good or bad, happy or sad, evil or god, constructive or destructive n so on which are again subjective terms used to rationalise the thoughts created by human beings, sadly that have become SPONSORING THOUGHTS that are driving most of the beings the way it seems now, towards the dead end.......
So just be your self, try n break the shackles of sponsoring thoughts, coz that are not being yourself as they are some one elses........

I think that no matter what you cannot go back because you will never be happy. I think you just need to follow your hearth and your dreams. Relax and take your time to make up a good plan on which to work on you know something you love.
Maybe travel man it's a good thing and if you did it already maybe it's time to do it again. We all need to change our lives sometimes even if after we come back to it but we come back with more knowledge on how to make your life happier!
And man sometimes i look at people passing by in the streets and i wish so much they would just plug into the Trance Frequency cause it makes life so mauch happier! I mean when i got into it, it really changed my life and i started working on myself and on my life in a way to build it as i like it. I think through this experience (and not only mine but all my close friends have passed through the same thing) That i wish people would get into Trance and dance together in a big celebration! I think that we are lucky to be into this lifestyle and music it really makes life interesting and adds so much fun to everything!
So man relax there's nothing to worry about your on the right track in my opinion!

The one thing i'm scared of is that I will NOT get into the life permanently. For the past couple years the music has taken me over, putting me to sleep, waking me up, getting me through my day, making me anxious with new releases. But I am young, very young. I have yet to start college ( a couple months ). I live in America-by far the smallest psy-trance community and the hardest to get into if you're young.
I want to travel, stay somewhere, prefferably somewhere farther, where there is less penalizations and restrictions for holding festivals/"raves" (egh). The whole culture is just so far beyond anything that people here can even comprehend - the unity and love for one another, to put it bluntly one way. The people here, bluntly, are cold, caring just for their money and getting on work at 9 and off at 5. I want to work with the music - with the people... not for some lazy ass CEO who doesn't care one way or another what kind of life you live just to lower a pay. So I really don't know what to do. |
