what do u consider the cheapest best monitors?

I've been in that situation. I just had the KRK RP5 which are very cheap, when I heard the Yamaha HS80M. For this little money (250€ each) they sound fantastic, even compared with much more expensive ones. I changed them, 'cos the Yams were soooooo good! They have nothing to do with the NS10, the white cone is just marketing.. (Yes, you can hear bass without a sub...) GIVE 'EM A TRY!!!

Thanx Gero , but 500€ seems a bit of a luxury i cannot afford right now , something in the proximities of 200 € for the whole pack would be great

dont spend 200e for monitors !

wait until u have at list 500e and get something better!

but if u have to get monitors fast with 300e u can get samson rubicon r5a they are superb monitors for the price!

trust me i have them and they are very nice with good clarity and can translate well to other systems the mix u make on them!

I'm need of monitors like we all need to drink water or anything else i'm working with some Cambridge Soundworks speakers , i have a recent friend who produces also and he has lot's o' gear and some very good monitors (dont really remember the brand),when i was listening to my songs immediatly spotted some faults like eartroubling sounds on the leads, not enough low end and things like that ,so u imagine...
but i guess i can extend my budjet 100e's hehe, one or two parties less

Hi! I know the great marks, but the cash is not to high, i buy a roland 2.1 speakears sistem, and helps me a lot!! It´small, but they have all professional basic conections, like, spdif, optical etc. this sistem is formed of 2 small speakers for the mid an trebles and a subwoofer for a bass and subbass, (2.1 system), and i work in my bedroom! the model is a DM-2100! THE PRICE HERE A PAY R$1000,00 (REAIS), in a promotion, but cost R$1,300,00.           Hi, i´m a begginner in psy trance, but i ám a professional musician 7 years ago and i started with the guitar at the fourteen years age. I here to clear the shadow of unknowledge, to grow.

I just got the Behringer Ttruth B2030P/B2031P Studio monitors, and I must say "WOW" What a change in sound.

Theese babys play SO much better than my other speakers. All the musical work I've been doing have to be redone. Now I can hear every tone played so crystal clear. Even though they are passive monitors, they are so awsome. I can only recommend them...

No one seems to have mentioned the simple fact that it takes a while for your ears to adjust to new monitors... even top of the range ones. I've been using tapco s-5 and sw-10 for about 6 months and although they are very much budget monitors, I'm still pretty happy with the way my mixes are improving mainly down to the fact that I'm learning where their strengths and weaknesses lie.

If your upgrading to a new pair, expect a decent ammount of downtime for your ears to adjust to them.
