i have a question about the rme multiface2
is there any difference bertween it and the hdsp9632 or its just it has more i/o and preamp?
the sound quality is the same?
i dont need preams and 2 i/o is enough for me...just want to know if the converters are same |

as I heard from professional people who I can rely on, The Multiface 2 has better converters than the 9632... besides that you may never know when you will need that extra I/O .And it also has balanced outputs and some other stuff that cost money if you want to add it to the 9632

thanks man
the difrence is big. fireface besides having pre amps (multiface dont) it gathers ALL that rme builds in the same card. I meen converters, pre amps, dsp, i/o etc and you dont need a pcicard or card bus!

and the multiface+pci card is 900$

beside that ,the converters are better and SNR is higher then multiface 2 and hdsp 96/32

I used to use a korg 12/12 for the first years of making trance stuff, and i just got the fire face 800 like 6 months ago and as you all said, the clarity and frequency range is unbelievable.
I know ppls oppinions differ, but i think i can say this is one piece of equipment that everyone will agree is the best in its field.
