Are creative soundblaster PCI cards good enough...the 6 channel one..??

i am hearing a lot of pops and clicks in FL studio..the processor level goes really high..i am using AMD athlon 64 X 2 Dual core 6000+ processor...with the onboard sound card....
any resolution for this..?           No... no more scientists, no more laboratories, no more experiments, I thought you`d be able to understand that. No more!

get this one is the best ultra cheap card you can get.

it has no inputs.
the outputs are unbalanced.
its plastic.
feels cheap.

but works rock solid and has 2 stereo outputs to work on traktor also.

i play live/dj with it all the time and its just plug and play!           http://www.landmark-recordings.com/

firewire/usb/else?

there is no 'best'.

i got a used echo audiofire 4 for just below 200 and i like it. the audiofire 2 would be in your price range, if you want to buy it new.
but actually i don't know much about audio interfaces.

I need a stable and not-expensive USB soundcard for playing live.

For a laptop with Windows 7 64 bit.

Any suggestions?

I have this one for my laptop and so far Im very glad with it although it was very affordable and rather an alternative for small money, and limited for some tasks, though for me enough for now and I think for live it should be a nice stable thing and enough. Havnt any expirience with it life so far though.           https://soundcloud.com/shivagarden

Thanks for your input with sound cards.. But the question isn't directed to only one.

then you might want to elaborate on your question a little?

i already gave you 3 very good examples of interfaces in your price range..

but you hide important facts..what exactly do you want to know?

Just wanted to know any recommended soundcards in the price range I stated. I'm not decided on anything yet so I asked here. Thanks.
