Seriously if you really enjoy making music and want to go further, save up another 100€ and get an Echo..it will make you much more happy than all the stuff you mentioned, honestly..

Hey Zork,
Thanks for the reply.....and wicked tunes by the way.
I'd love an Echo but in my current state i'd have to wait for a while (quite a while) until i get one which means quite a significant time of sitting around and not being able to work on anythin.Plus i've been readin around that firewires are coming to an end of their era. So let's say you had to choose one of the ones i mentioned  which ones would you go for?

haha i was afraid you'd say that. I was chatting to a guy earlier on and he said that the shop he works for had a lot of tascam returns......I do really like the look of it though so will try catch some more reviews before my final decision. Thanks again buddy and all the best with your future work

Ok , that "hi" was a test, i'm new on the forum so i didn't knew how to submit info....
here's the reason to appear in the forum, i'm also in the mood to change my soundcard.
I've got already an NI audio kontrol 1 , but i thought i could improve my equipment/sound/lattency, getting maybe a motu Ultralite Mk3 Hybrid....
I've been reading forums , and following this one for like one month and i'm naw more mest up than before......
What do i have to do?
keep on going with native audio kontrol until i can buy something much more expensive , change to motu ?
I've read also kind of problems with that one (MK3) , but i'm crazy looking forward to improve the lattency in my production.....
please i would like to get some help, i've been trying to just keep reading pages and pages in this thread but need to clear my mind....

How much latency do you have? I use the Audio Kontrol 1 with my laptop and have a latency of 3ms @ 44,1 kHz, the same I get on my desktop with a RME interface.
Imo it's a good interface and if you don't need more in/outs I see no point to change to another interface.

Hey i don't know what is Imo......
In the other hand, i tested my latency with dpclat lattency test , giving from 3 to 10 ms....(with audiokontrol1 NI).
So what abaut UA1010 OCTA-CAPTURE - ROLAND
interface , also sounds great , and seems like coming with good drivers.....(4 PC)
I'm still thinking to change interface...... |

Sorry, Imo is an abbreviation for: In my opinion
A latency of 3 to 10 ms is not bad. So I still see no point to buy another interface unless you need a lot of in and outs for external gear.

NI audiokontrol 1 cost arraund 180 euro, and it's quite OK as Eleusene and me were talking abaut. |
