It has my EQ and dynamics settings as well as the VB-1 settings.           Everyone in the world is doing something without me

pavel i would love to try that out.
I think a bass patch archive would be a great idea but it should also contain presets for whatever eq and compression is used. I mean whats the point of uploading a straight vb1 patch, the sound is totally in the eq/compression.

Just rediscovered my love of the original muon tau...
Try this:
highpass at 46 Hz low pass at about 4'000 Hz
Grungelizer tweaked as you want it (i remove abit of low-mid to get a drier sound)
and then a C4 compressor boosting at 60 to 120 Hz
if you're doing non-melodic full on basslines do 1/64ths if your doing more melodic Broken Toy esque basslines use 64ths 32nds (on notes you want more oomph on) and 16th on notes to get glide

Peace

i use a lot muon tau and it gives one the best tran ce bass i have but i dont make nothing of that just tune the synth with the right parameters and just open Eq on top. U also can open a compressor for feet it into the mix. Although the arpegio used is VERY important in for the bass line. I advice not to repeat lots of times the same gate time for each note play. thats important for the grove. even if its a monotonic bass.
Anyway its good to see how other ppl use this nice machine..

I would be down to upload the bass patch I made for Logic's ES-1 if anyone was interested... I also started using the Hydra for bass... That works really well           An Eagle may soar, but Weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.

i know one producer that makes vb1 sound quite cool...

still i prefer vstation, sh1001 or junglist (just discovered it's bass potential: percussive envelopes )           roll a joint or STFU :)
