there is no need to convert your presets m8..you can even load those fxp/fxb files in logic..don`t know about that fxpansion...

Not sure about current Logic version, but 5.5 doesn't load FXB, only FXP.

oh wait, I think it can also load fxb, but just thru the synth
so, yes it can load .fxp (defenately) and .fxb (I'm pretty sure, old versions did, but havent tried with 8)

Hi Mad,
Apart that little problem, how yours Ultralite work in a Mac? Smooth?
Have you noticed another problems with it?
I´m asking it because that soundcard is in my wishlist now.
Best,

yes really smooth
the drivers are almost perfect for mac, defenately better than the pc drivers...
till now I didnt see any problems yet, just got one error till now but I think it was more cause something went wrong inside logic which fucked up the audio environment (no sound from midichannels anymore, just audiotracks still playing)
btw, if someone got an idea where this shit could come from, would be really nice to hear it
but anyway, just 2 thumbs up for getting it mate...its a solid interface...

Wait for the drivers releases. It will take a little time to everything is running on Leopard.
e.g. Soundcards, etc.

i don't think so ....
i think it'll have everything what tiger had.
it has extra features remember
so if everything is running perfectly on tiger there's no doubt that it will not run on leopard
it's apple not microsoft
mac engineers must have thought wat we can't even think of

aham, though im very new in logic, but i know this for sure
nexus runs smoother all im missing is the D16 AU's and they'll get out in a month max.
ps, stupid question but are VSTi loadable in Logic or is AU the 1st choice Apple thought?

I do not use Logic but i think that developpers were not enough stupid to exclude VST compatibility...

Actualy logic 7/8
does accept vsti just over a workaround through this vst to audio unit wrapper...but i wouldn`t recommend it..due to performance and stuff like that...we got the same question not long ago...so some vst run with pluggo runtime expansion wich allows you to use them even in logic..the older versions of logic do accept vsti..
