Are you being ironic now? How can you possible love coca cola as product and sponsor?
Lately there has benn many writings on this forum about dark trance and devil worship. Many people see this as the beginning of the end of this psy scene of ours.
Well, I dont! I think opinions like Detox is far more scary. Coca cola and other multinational companies are the true devils of this world.
Dont get me wrong, I dont mind sponsored parties, but sponsors can be choosed wisely.
Coca cola for example has intrests in the war industry, exploatating third world countrys and poor people of the world, they even have hand in tearing down the rain forrests in the world.
Is that good detox? |

I agree that you should choose your sponsors carefully. I wouldn't want sponsorship from a company like Monsanto. (Anyone here ever petitioned Monsanto about what they are doing? I have).
Maybe I'm just not aware of all the evil stuff that Coca-Cola does but so far I havn't seen anyone give any real INFORMATION about the alledged crimes of Coca-Cola. If you want to convince anyone, please give some URLs with real info about that.
Björn, I am assuming you do not own a mobile phone then as every single company that produces mobiel phones has involvement in the arms industry. Also, I am wondering how you posted your message as both Intel and IBM (PowerPC chips in the Mac) are involved in the arms industry. Also, I find it quite amazing that you can live without electricity. You don't use electricity, right? You do realise that the companies that produce power stations are also involved in the arms industry, right?
I am assuming you don't own a car either and never fly in a plane, right? (The most poluting form of transport arround).
You know the biggest producer of electricity windmills (Siemens) are also involved in the arms industry, right? So what to do? Use "green" electricity and support the arms industry or use more polluting electricity? These choices really are not as simple as some (uninformed) people are trying to portray here.
If you really want to change the world, get into politics. Try and influence the policies of the WTO, IMF, World Bank etc. They hold the real power. So how many of the people that claim they want to change the world were at the last few WTO meetings protesting the way globalisation is going?

Even Timothy Leary realised that after a while and changed his "Turn On, Tune In, Drop Out" slogan. Anyone that thinks they are changing anything by staying in the underground or by posting some ill-informed messages on a forum like this, is just deluding themselves and giving themselves a totaly unwarranted tap on the shoulder.
