Hi there people i would like to know if the music for you is spiritual or not? Spiritual in the sense that when you go in a dancefloor you go there to let yourself be part of the tribe to be free and fly with the music and the people! Spiritual in the sense that you are focused on the music when you party you expect nothing but beautiful intense powerful music!
For me definatley it's a spiritual experience i am always looking for even though nowadays i haven't had any because of the way the music turned into a circus.
Let me know,
  Boom :)

well, it used to be spiritual to me. nowdays only i can hear on a party is stupid xtc trance where everybodys on cheap drugs and think they can fly. thats just pathetic to me. the e's are the cheapest drug here cost only about 2.50 euros...everybody can afford that. so those people want only to jump and to release the energy within their bodies.. they dont seek for psychic and spiritual experiences. no parties like these you mentioned above, soul kontakt. and i wish there are. nothing beautifull as open air party in a forest on amazing place + playing koxbox... just beautifull. but that was like 3 years ago. now you can only hear crappy fullon artists. i think that dino psaras have a vacation house somewhere in serbia he is here like 5-10 times a year! and always the same artists which already make me puke: talamasca, joti, skazi, astral projection, etnica... i personally even like some of this artists. but c'mon you cant experience spiritual experience while u listen to dino's rmx of justin timberlake track!

Then come to Serbia!
The land of inexpensive drugs and a low quality trance scene.
But who needs psytrance when you can rocket yourself for 10 euro straight to Shiva!!!

Can't agree more fraglemann
It's as spiritual as you make it yourself. Sadly enough I have to go back in time to find true music pieces that I personally feel takes me on a spiritual ride of astral flights. It's all in the recievers head and heart. For me the more spiritual trance (not talkiing chill) is the structure of the melodies and flow, the rythmic heartbeats and mind expanding feelings of the precisions laid down on a tracker.
There's a reason why Astral Projection reached such a big Goa audience with their music back in the days.
precisions is where psychedelic vibes is essential, especially in the spiritual concept.
np. Electric Universe - The Prayer
i digg.
Of course, eat a blotter and listen to ie. Braincell and you'll properly feel the same as AP.

I've always had difficulty finding psy spiritual.
The people are drugged up rambling about spirituality.. which just seems false to me.
I recognize tracks too frequently.
I began trying to make psy as soon as I started listening to it. So, when I'm listening I hear a kick, a bassline made of 16th notes and the fm lead playing above it instead of whatever the spiritheads hear.
Sometimes I wish it were the other way around, but I learn so much this way that I feel I might lose out. |

if I listen to pre 2000 goa music then yeah it sounds spiritula, anything 2000+ sounds like a cheap fix for a heroin junky...
feed the kids some more e music, and as was said above, send a $20.00 rocket to Shiva up their ass and you can be famous like Dali and Skazi too!
All hail the purity of backyard meth labs! |

offtopic post:
the parties here are low quality because of artists who come to play and because of people who organize it. people who make and play quality electronic music cannot express themselves because of those guys (not to say who) who are dominating on the scene. so we all try to make it better and to make something different - if not that, it will be enough to have a decent party once in a two weeks.
