I know I know, sorry i feel sorry for that post now, I was just trying to get a more positive vibe in this threat, tried to motivate people because everybody was so negative. I guess I was still hoping for a happy end, but when I read this, I have no words for this...It makes me sad and angry at the same time...it's a sad weekend for the french organisations.
I always try to look at the bright side of life...always searching for positive things...but now...I'm deeply dissapointed

Yikes  really sad news!!!
I thank my lucky star I decided not to go and my thoughts go out to those people who went there and had to experience all this nasty shit... whatever happened to peace and love???

Other ppl say that Jp is ok, nobody was kidnapd and the cops took the security guys... Main floor is closed, there is a little dancefloor with very good vibes but the fest won't last much time... |

crazy shit, hope nobody gets hurt.
big shame on them, it is so dangerous to think that u can gather so many people without any clue of how to organise it.
maybe also the trancers, dancers could stop believing only the biggest lineups and biggest flyers telling the biggest bulshit possible, this could help a lot too, there is some very good organisations and festivals doing great job but not putting so much effort on bullshit advertising and they know what they do, since many years, and in every country u can find this kind of thing.
please think about it...

but as far as i can tell by the quantitie of posts i read, this JP guy is well known... Or not?...
I dont know him, or the crew behind him... but this was a Festival anounced very earlier... And ppl seem to see it with very good eyes... until... then we all know the rest... or we think we know... judging for the amount of posts that we read in this Forum...
... there is not much more to say... I just wish a happy ending for this nightmare...

Freedom Festival is not opening sooner, its only rumours.
We are on last stage of the production, we cant open gates earlier.
15th 12am gates will open like we anounced before.

I'm so sorry to bother...but I have a french friend and he's a security guy, he called me a few days ago saying we was gonna come into portugal but he didn't knew how to explain the exactly place....today he called me asking for help, he says he has no money, no phone, nothing, because they didn't pay to him and after that it was created a real chaos in the festival, I've also talked to this tow lady friend of him that told me the same and they were crying, very scared with all this problems, that ewas when I decided to look ont the web for this festival that was happening in Avis (they told me where they were)... If someone in here were there can you please tell me what is happening? |

Tell them to go to the consulate in lisbon.
With all this, probably in the tv tomorrow, I really dont know about parties future in Portugal. Maybe with this, the government starts acting more like spain or england in these matters.
Thats not good for me.

So, is there any reason at all now to try and make it there? i will be arriving in portugal tonight regardless for other reasons.
at the moment we have done everything we can on our side to make the booking work. I have no bad feelings about pulling out if it means staying safe with myself, my girl, and all my gear.

sorry, but all this big movie was already written!
a team without any kind of professionals since the very beggining. an orgnanization with bad reputation in their past events tryng to make a 5 days mega suppa festival in another country.
then come the doubt, people start to question their capacity to make such event, but all the djs and producers on the line up shout saying "go away with your bad vibes" etc etc.
now what we have?
and where are the good vibe protectors now?

Hi everybody,
i'ld like to confirm u that the lives Sensifeel and Cyklones, Symphonix, Montagu & Golkonda are cancelled for this festival.
After having done a lot of thing to make this booking works (also because we really wanted to make it work) but regarding the unrespect and the really unprofessionnal job done by the whole team (Jp head manager) we couldn't find a good ending.
I hope for the people who are allready there, the artists and locals, to find finally some positif.
