my boyfriend and I are planning on comming to this from Montreal, is there a ride share or anything like that to get to the festival from san fransisco??we've never been to California and wanna meet up with some cool people to party with!! |

This is going to be the only outdoor 4-day festival for me and my girl this year, but from what I read we picked a good one!
But what's thid road-of-hell stuff? What can we do to best prepare for Angel's camp?

hey Esoteknic.... this is for sure one of the best 4 day parties in the U.S
definitely my favorite festival in northamerica last year. Lineup is incredible again, and the other music they play on the alternate stages is really good as well.

for the road to angels camp. Use a Truck , Suv, or a Subaru
Youd be amazed how many SF trancers own Subarus, a decision heavily influenced by years and years of navigating that damn road

then follow these directions from there
FROM ANGELS CAMP TO THE GATHERING:
At the end of town past the movie theater you will come to a Y intersection
Go left onto Highway 4
Go 4.6 Miles to Parrots Ferry Road and go Right
Go 1 Mile to camp 9 Road - go Left (there will be a small sign that says '9 miles to Stanislaus Powerplant')
USE EXTREME CAUTION AND DRIVE SLOW ON THIS ROAD!
THIS IS A ONE LANE PAVED ROAD, WATCH FOR ONCOMING TRAFFIC!
Follow this narrow winding road 7.2 miles to the bridge crossing.
When you get to the bridge cross it and make a left at the end.
Go half a mile to the first dirt road on your right (3NO3)
Go Right up the dirt road 3.1 miles to the entrance to Avery Ranch.
Meet the greeters, park, jump around, jump up, jump up, and get down

trying to get ahold of someone in org concerning a presale ticket question. Seems kinda hard to do at the moment as im sure everyone involved is running around like the proverbial headless chicken right now.
