I think Stratos you are very right man!!!and u know it better because you are and a label owner & dj...Who forget why Flying Rhino didn't survive and some other labels, when this mp.3 shit start happened??? we support the scene only when we buy original copies !!!and 10-12 euros for a new cd is not too much...3 coffees...

the price we pay is very lttle when you think about what you get, so much quality music is made and sold, these prices are insane compared to vinyl prices back in the day,
bought music sounds better too, no matter what anyone says
please buy your music and support the scene.
all the best

i have over 1000 cd's of trance music and i have only 10+- originals...
I think its normal thats happening in our country,
a new original cd has the biggest price of any other country in europe, i have to pay 25 and 30 euros for a original cd, for the same cd one guy in UK has to pay 10 and 15 euros for a cd, the half of us...
its normal to "downloading" and copying the original cd's.... the answer for this topic can be
ansered only from labels, and firstly this labels,
has to ask from their selfs to keep the pirates down, and then ask from us the same...

dude, just go onto http://www.psyshop.com or http://www.saikosounds.com and for sure you'll get an original cd for the price of 10-15 euros. home-delivered... as simple as that.
IMO, to a dj there is no excuse for downloading free music and playing it in public or elsewhere other than for private use. A true dj buys the records/cds (or gets promo material for free). It's called respect... especially towards the artist, label, and the people on the dance floor. No doubt about this.

well you can also download rare tracks from many available sites on line. The cost is sth like 1.00 to 1,50 euros (depends usualy on the bitrate) . Usualy 320 bitrate is good enough for a dj to download and add in his set. A fast internet connection and an instant credit card will do it.
Enjoy

If the music deserves your respect, then buy it.
If you use the music as a money tool in any way, then don't bother.
As for the Dj's , it is funny -the least- to say that they don't have copies in their case. But they should also have original music as well. It is a matter of respect. With the fee, or without it.
Psytrance music is not very commerciall though, and the artists, and labels surely know that before they got involved. So people owe some respect to those who make the music possible, and support them as they can. Without support there is no scene, no good music, no good parties.
