Well for sure this topic has been made from an owner of a record label......but i completely agree with him.Djs are everywhere....Many ppl think that they are good djs.......but in reality sucks!!!!.....
First of all the most djs mixing with mp3. These ppl are misserable.....and we must laugh at them not dancing!!! (i dont want to expand on a subject about the sound differencies between mp3 and wav...but for sure are obvious to ppl who can listen carefully  )If u want to be a dj u have to respect artist,labels,crowd.And bying music means that u help your scene to grow up or even more to survive!!!If djs dont care for that then its better to go and F**k them selves.....they deserve it
However mp3 cannot stop exist neither sharing through the net can stop.....What i do with mp3 is to make the market research because psy trance is full of new labels and artists
And i m not that much wealthy in order to buy all the music of the month.......Something else is that original cds getting out of stock really fast so its possible not to find them!!Then you have to copy it!
Strato my friend dont forget that u have the label.....and that means artists send u music .....unrealsed or realesed!!
But the most of us we are not owners of a label and we must find alone our resources!!
And net is the widest place to find what we're looking for!!!+internet is full of unrealesed killer tracks:P
Screw the fake djs!!!

Excuse me u said that is a lot of money to buy music........is in't expensive and much more to buy drugs in a party ???  The most of them are poor and spend respectable amounts for d***s
So that is not a good excuse mate......just u prefer to get something for free than to pay it !!!.......But dont forget....u buy what u pay  (oti plhrwneis agorazeis)

jimbo-madness no one mentioned d***s.The subject here is music.i agree that mp3 sucks and an mp3 track is impossible to reach the quality of a wav file and a wav file is impossible to reach a vynil sound.i wrote in my previous repply that i blame the labels for this situation with mp3's but i didn't said anything about the people who download mp3 and how they use them.So a dj who respect himself and his audience don't play mp3 and if he is professional he will demand to be paid as a pro .An mp3 dj which mostly belongs to new generation he don't respect himself and his audience and the only thing he wants is to play to a bar or club many times for no money and the promoter who sucks 2,will be happy like the dj. so this is circle and a huge subject with many branches ....who is good dj why good dj's don't play bla bla etc.this will be my last repply in this topic. |

Music must not be privilege only of those who can afford buying it. We live in difiicult times if you haven't notised it. Don't expect that people who listen to this music will spend money from their limited budgets to buy original cds when they can have it for free via p2p sharing(speaking from my point of view). Come on guys get real you really thing that anyone will sacrifice a night out with his girlfriend and friends in order to buy original cds? Where you live? Do you know that in 2004 we had more than 2000 releases in psy and prog? Do you know how much money you need to pay for getting a small percentage of them? So, share and dont trade. Music is a gift for everyone not for an elite. By the way i have 25GB in mp3s of 2005 in prog and psy, anyone who wants me to give him/her tracks and full cds just pm me |

If you want to download music for free just because you can do it (unlike a new pair of shoes or a new jacket or car that you cant just download using your bright new ADSL line) then do it ok BUT PLEASE DONT COME IN PUBLIC AND SAY BULLSHIT THAT MUSIC IS A GIFT AND NOT A PRIVILEGE FOR THE ELITE.

Copies kill your scene but you still take very good moneys from parties. . . 
From the uther side cds kill my pocket but i must go to the party too blast so i pay. . . 
And We are all Happy, you take money from party and i dont pay for cds. . .

i believe the most fair is downloading your mp3s for 1-2 dollars each. This way you dont have to buy a whole CD for 1 song. And you still pay something for the people who made it.
