there are NOT fulltime pro psydjs in greece-except from the greekadelia ones(if u don't know what I mean)so maybe u have raised the topic in the wrong section.
but I believe that u r very strict concerning your views stratos and in my opinion since you don't have the privilege to know exactly who's who and exactly is djing the right way and who's not in the greek scene I think that u should minimize the width of your accusations and b strict.who u r accusing and for what reason or else u know the american mkg idea of "any publicity is good publicity" is not working in here and u r becoming a little of graphic if u know what I mean .
anyways I respect you and your label since for many years u were the No1 greek label in my book but in the future don't put all things in the same sack!

Music and generaly ,access to stuff that people want to buy to satisfy or grow their culture like books, cd's, dvd's are very expensive to a middle salary person.I don't aggree with stratos and his topic.From the time that people can get cheaper or free something that it's on their interest they will get it,without thinking the consequences.They don't care like i personally don't care if sony or virgin or smaller label's and distributors get poorer.The only thing i care is to get what i want with my pocket untouched.I m not selfish. i am a middle salary man and music,film fan.In some years artists who want to sell their work they will sell it via internet cheaper without make the companies richer and their selves slaves.Before many years ago i can afford buing a cd or a vinyl because the market was smaller and i was waiting something to be released for many weeks even months. and when i bought it i was listening the same stuff for a long long time.now days companies and consumers became greedy. releasing 2-5 products in a period of 2 months of their material consumers want them all has as an outcome this situation that stratos describes and make a topic for it.
And in a small scene (dance,psy-trance,chill,ambient) compare to bigger ones things will get more difficult.And my reply will be much bigger if i will write about dj's and their financial situation. |

Stratos you are talking in your point of view as a label manager and as a dj propably lots of demos and lots of promos.If you weren't what you are ,would you buy copies?
(and i buy copies for 7 e a descent price comparing to 18 e) |

I know a place in Salonica that you can buy copy cds with 3-7 euro it's up to who you are,dj or not.
And its a record store,so go on holidays strato

bying copy cd u kiiling the music u like & artists of course..
and after that u will consider why there is no nice releases for your taste..
so i think its good for all bying a cd u like and not copy that..
just think that u "ll continue copying music but if smg is very special for u ,buy this !!!
u"ll protect your favourite music like that..
i can understand that there is no euros in our pocket but just think how many realeases is really nice for our taste ,compilations or albums? i think there are not more than 10 right?
so at least try to select the best from the music & the artists u like and buy some original cds..
maybe u lost some euros but u will feel like u protect your favour artists after that..
u will feel that u put a small stone to protect your favourite music ....
like this will survive the music u prefer..
its up to u..

So your problem is the local professional djs that don't buy cds,we speak about 2-3 djs in this city and 5-6 at Athens.
So if they buy 5 cd per month 9x7euro =63x5 = 315euro per month.
