The Greek section is the one with most oppossitions to substances of any kind .And to the whole psy movement.
I just wanted to asku guys sth..Do you honestly believe that u can experience what psychedelic trance is all about without ever having a psychedelic experience (especially while listening to this magical tunes) ?
FACT this music is especially made for this reason.Trying to deny it is pure ignorance..
And trying to present it as this :
Psychonaut = Junkie

Dear mate,
it's been said a lot of times but since u ask here's one more answer:
the opposition is not against substances, it's against the irrelevant use of substances by ppl who have no idea about what they are taking, do not know where to stop, do not take responsibility of their actions while they are high, do not keep in mind their responsibilities against the Greek laws and become harassing towards other ppl. Isn't it the same with your country too??
About the word junkie, it is used in Greece and all over the world for ppl who are under a very very specific substance and this has nothing to do with their musical taste whether it's trance or rock n roll or tsifteteli.
Check the greek section a bit more and u will find a lot of answers to your questions.

I am from Greece ,I live in the uk ..
that is why I ask the same questions again ,because i have noticed great differences btw these 2 countries as far as PSY is concerned
What i meant with the psychonaut/junkie relation is that ppl are not informed about "drugs" but still keep critisizing every1 and everything..It's really simple-how would u feel if some1 on ,shrooms was described as a junkie by some clueless guy??
THAT is what I cannot stand- ppl irrelevant to this whole scene....
Psychonaut:a traveller of the multi-dimensional reality that lies ahead of us,an innerself explorer,not afraid of leaving his ego behind.
at least thats how I recieve the word

There is just a big effort on the Greek forum
i think, regarding the whole direction of trance.
Problem no 1 is the abuse of chemical substances, sth that caused a lot of human brains to get burned and lifes to be spoiled. It is true that young ppl don't realy know the causes end effects of "psychedelic drugs". ABUSING such substances makes no differnce with using heroin or any other substance.
Problem no 2 is that drugs destroyed some realy nice things in our country's scene. This is where the police problems came up.
Ofcourse i think that 90% of the Greek section users have had experiences with substances. But i can't agree that this music is made for drugs. The way you put it sounds realy sad and disappointing.
And this is why you see many Greeks trying to change this direction. I think that nobody feels comfortable anymore with this.
And another thing. Greece is not England
