Yes thats why just couple of years ago half the city was begging me to move Skazi and Parasense from one promoter to another and when i did that the other half city begged me to move again Skazi and Parasense from the new promoters to the old ones.People calling me every 5 minutes and offering me money to give the bookings to them,people calling me and thinking that they can threat me,people calling me and begging me to work with them and not the others,people fighting in the airports concerning the artists,wars in isratrance,flyers with the same names on the same day,label managers and artists calling me and asking me what they should do and so on.
Allow me please to know quite a lot of how the scene in Thesaloniki developed and worked in the last 3 years.
Maybe one day if we meet each other in personal i can give you more spicy details,no need for more information online

The trancers are not dead at all, the 90% of the not so active trancers are much more trancers than the "now" active trancers, trancers are not dead but the music is totaly dead, there is no good psy trance,the most are totaly crap and i am not gonna go deep again in this matter (the crap artists and trakcs) and if some people have totaly burned up their minds with chemical ingridients and keep dancing with totaly crappy music , beleiving that this is psy trance , then u are way out of reality mate. U should learn to have a taste in music and basically to recognize what is music and what is not. |

psytrance music is almost dead if not dead allready..the people that making music nowdays used to be important figures in the psytrance scene..but they are not making psychedelic trance music..they produce proggresive, groovy, dark, full-on or a blend with a bit of everything plus disco vocals and there we have a well produced shit named as psychedelic trance..i feel very sad because names as Koxbox, X-Dream, Deedrah, Alien Project, GMS, Infected Mushroom, Pleiadians, Atmos have let us down...and it seems that there is nobody to replace them..and i mean the impact they had in music....and our minds
And as for the young people who attend parties its natural not to have taste in music because they havent heard REALY good music....if someone says that crap is good then it is..and when that someone are artists like them i mentioned above..what more to say?
psychedelic music is almost dead..the psychedelic spirit is not...its like a seed that is waiting for the right momment to flower..lets hope the time will come (soon)....

Yes Psy-vibe exactly like that...i totaly agree with u and most agree with us, because the 9 of the 10 tracks produced now as psychedelic trance is totaly shit (and not psy trance at all) and most times even if its from a well know musician (and this is worse because of their music background and knowledge) or made by a total amateur, but why u put Alien Project in these respective artists? Alien Project is crap, it was always a crap, using the same kicks and basslines and samples at all their tracks,copy pasting every sampple and vst plugings,they are a part of the Full On style and they have nothing to do with real talented and respected musicians like KoxBox who released one of the worst albums of all times in psychedelic history and i am talking about the last one, how Simon let them release that shit on Twisted records? i really cant understand :S But yes i can in a kind of way , first money because Twisted has from the samllest discography and this is not good to its economics and because KoxBox has released so many pure and fantastik psy trancs tracks and helped so many people (has helped and been part of many well know psy trance music projects)with music production and sound engineering that is really difficult to say "No" when they ask u to release an album at your respective till now label. Ihough its better not to release shit and have 10 cds at your discography and all be a blast at every category (music knowledge, inspiration, sound enginnering, and pure psy trance of course) than to have 100cds discography as a label and the 90 of them to be a total crap. This is the reason why most legendary labels closed. Because they didnt want to realease shit. Like Spirit Zone, like Flying rhino , like Distance, like Matsuri productions, like Transient wich now is alive again with shitty releases, like T.i.P records who became T.I.P. world and has released non more than 5 respective cds (25-35 in totaly). So u see, its very simple, there are no real musiciasn, there is no method, talents stop releasing and the one that exist are bored to release trakcs that need months to be composed as they used to do at old days. Because u need time , lot of time to compose history upon psy trance. And now some 20years old boys with Vst plugings (all the same as the full on artists use) and with reason and other software put a kick and a bassline and they think they release trance, this is not music, music has a beggining a middle and an end, especially when its a trip, the tracks of ourdays are not tracks at all, are a single loop with some fx. A single pattern, nothing more. Wake up people psy trance is dead for now,but hopefully we get to hear some times some really good musics but only from really musicians when they have the mood, kike Manmademan, like Tristan, like Prometheus and others. |

i mentioned Alien Project because introduced the term "Full-on psy"...i liked his music at the begining because it was something new..production skills,fresh and clear sounds,fast but very danceable..full-on is a hype now..and everyone seems to recycle the same shit...

People the things are simple and straight.Money bussines.Trance now became a massive money in the music industry.Lets not forget Tiesto who played at Athens 2004.Of caurse he is not psy trance but the record companies already put labels on trance music.Say it Psy Trance,Eurotrance,trance,trancy house,techno trance,progressive and blah blah blah.You see ?That's why there is not quality anymore on psy trance.Because the artists are following the success of the commercial artists like Tiesto,Digweed,Sasha,Paul Van Dyk.So GMS are now the Tiesto of psy trance and more to come.As more the psy trance is becoming commercial then more and more we will hear shits not only from new but also from old and respect artists.Well I made a mistake...psy trance is not dead to Greece but dead to all the world.As for X-Dream that a friend here told they were always techno fans as all the Germans so I think that they are a little bit with more open eyes than the others so that's why they turned it to electro and techno.Don't forget that music is their job and they live through it.So its typical for them to hunt music for all the ears and music that everybody will buy .I think they are correct.

Psy Vibe yes now i agree with u, at the begging of the full on era yes it was a bit more sophisticated. Who said that X-dream is techno and all Germans are into techno? Pfff....the one who said that is completely irrelevant. First of all the 3 first albums of X-dream on psy-trance they were totaly Psy-TRANCE, and psy trance way up in the air and not any psy trance.They were from the pionners and from the most talented musicians on the scene and they still compose trakcs that trully worth every minute.The have released so many pure psy tracks at top level and remixes that they wanted to change a little bit their style into techno and minimal but they still release and psy trance. Let me remind u a few German artists who were composing and they still compose pure psy trance and they were and are from the top real musicians on the scene : X-dream, Planet B.E.N, S.U.N Project,Johann Bley (also a part of the Juno Reactor project), Hara Gobi,Boris Blenn (also well known as Electric Universe and not only..),Earth, Germinator,Haldolium,Tim Schuldt,Spies, Star Sounds Orchestra...and others that i cant remmeber right now.So do u see any techno in that mate ?(the one who said Germans are into techno) and these are not "any" artists, but artists that exist for many years and are talanted musicians with a huge music background (members of various music bands before they started composing psy trance)i think that i totaly answered the stupid quote of the person who thought that Germans are techno.
Absolute Zero yes mate of course and i dont know your taste, but when u say that there are no trancers, then u want as to assume that there is psy trance but there is no trancers. If is yes then you dont know what is psy trance.Did you hear any new releases from Haldolium? You find them now psy trance? Midimiliz is psy trance?
