There are plenty, plenty of cops that dont wear id tags and same cops wears facemasks and that means only one thing=brutality.
If they should protect and to serve=THAT is their job, they should do it the right way.

"The point is the normal Police man got nothing to say. He get his orders from above."
Like Kitnam mentioned thats exactly what also high ranking nazis defended themself with after the war.
Sure...it's the head of state ultimatly responsible.
But even the head of the police is also "only doing his job".

Personally if my job included killing or hurting innocent people I would rather starv, and in effect what some people are saying is that it's ok to do anything for money.
As long as you get paid for killing people it's ok "because you are only doing your job".
Hmmm...dubious sense of moral.

And HandA was comparing it to how also US soldiers in Iraq are "only doing their job".
If you would have followed the media at all last year you would be well aware of the fact that they many times got carried away and started to humiliate and torture prisoners.
Just like they did in Vietnam and in most conflicts in known history.
Put a bunch of testesterone filled, well armed and uniform clad males together in a pressurised situation and you can be quite sure that some of them will act somewhat out of line with the official orders.

We had a similar scenario in sweden when Bush was on visit. In the end the police got away with a bunch of atrocities because it was not known who had been giving the orders.
And the individual policemen who been partaking in the clearly criminal acts got away with a "we where only following orders"....even if they could not tell who they received the orders from.           (``·.¸(``·.¸(``·.¸¸.·`´)¸.·`´)¸.·`´)

Kitnam comparing the Nazi's to the police is funny to say the least.

Also i didnt said to remain passive,i said to not rush into conclusions, please dont change my words

Stompa facemasks are used to avoid the effects of tear gas, never been in the middle of a riot mate?

Please people dont try and find excuses that sometimes are funny to say the least in order to present the police officers as brutal beasts that have fun from kicking people asses. Its not fair for the police and also its not fair for the sake of this discussion.

Try and think little more before you post guys           Toodaloo Motherfuckers!!!!!

My letter which was sent to both the Ambassador of the Czech Republic in Israel and the Permanent Representation of the Czech Republic to the European Union:

Quote:
Dear sir,

I would like to express my shock and protest against the brutal use of police force against the attendees of the CzechTek festival which was held this last weekend in the Czech Republic, near the village of Mlynec. I was aghast at the violent actions which I have seen in pictures and video clips and which I have read of.

All through the centuries, all over the world, music of all its types and genres had been the only true international language. Everyone speaks it, everyone masters is - from kids to grown ups. It has been a true bridge over so many differences and disagreements, and therefore I think you can understand why those pictures of a massive police force, a swarm of armored policemen, all wearing black, raiding a music festival had touched me so deeply.

I do not wish to take sides here, nor accuse anyone of anything. I do not know who was right and who was wrong, but I am sure that there could have been a different solution to any problem that that festival might have caused, without physically hurting anyone. The festival may not have been entirely legal, and maybe its attendees had broken a few laws, but I don’t believe that sending such a vast amount of policemen to that festival was the appropriate solution.

We are all human and we all make mistakes, be it as individuals or as organizations, groups or governments. History had taught us that much. But being human also gives us the power to learn from our mistakes and to learn from others mistakes as well.

I would thank you if you could forward this letter to whomever it may concern with the hope that we will all learn from this sad event and hopefully it will not recur.

Sincerely yours,

Please REMOVE my cellphone number from any SMS spam list you may have. Thanks.

"A Reuters cameraman at the scene said the police gave a 30 minute warning for all to leave the area before the water cannon were turned on the crowd.

The spokeswoman said there were several arrests at the site, but could not say how many."

But peolpe has drunk alchahol and would have been not a good idea for them to leave the site ! How unrisponsable of the Aoutorities !

Detox! No offense, but if you are supported by the government as you should be as a cop I hope you will be wearing a gasmask and not
a bankrobbermask, specially in that type of massive action.

Stompa first of all i am no cop just for your info, neither i ever wanted to become one for my own reasons.

Second in order to be protected by tear gas you can use many things and not only a gas mask, the masks used by the police in this situation are made by a special fabric that protects your mouth and nose from all kinds of smoke like tear gas, fire smoke and toxic elements if i am not mistaken. Its also used for people that work in mines in order to protect them from what they might breath there.           Toodaloo Motherfuckers!!!!!

Hi people

i am sorry, in dont want to read all the topic, but i want to thank you for the support.

Sadly i couldnt b at the fest personly, but my grlfriend where there all the time...so i got the information from the 1st hand.

She told me that it was like war, POlice kickin and beatin girls, boys everyne, without any weapons, with empty hands. Destroyng cars, sound systems, bars everythink. Trowinf gas bombs. Using a water cannon.

Come on this people went for the dance, not to fyght.

In advance i have to say, that i am not a fan of free tekkno culture at all..but this what happend is unbeliavable.

Its an absolut paradox!..for cca 11 years this festival was completly illegal - at year 2003 there was around 40000 people celebrating.
This year the fest suppose to b legal and then this crap happend - many people (includin me) expected that itl b stopped..but NOT LIKE THIS!!!

Police brutality with no limits. The times are quite hectic now here. Demonstrations/strikes mostly everyday. Newpapers, forums still speakin about this.

Ill try to get truth the forum in the next days and answer your questions.

Also ill try to post some adresses where u can send your support.

My opinion is - that it was, becouse the european goverment. We were the last members where this was possible (in such a big amount) and there was a pressure from EU to stop it.
But the czech failed at all. OK stop it, but not by killing innocent people.

as usual you got no clue what I meant and misunderstand what my pooint was... But that's ok. I dont do the mistake and try to explain things to you anymore. It's a waste of time. You just do as you always do. twist things even more and become personal.

So have it your way. After all there's not one person on this earth that will ever be able to make you admit that you sometimes misunderstand what people write.

Hmm..twist and become personal?
And exactly what part was personal?
Anyone who don't agree with what you say is getting personal?

At least you quickly edited out the part where you started talking about my wife...don't look so good to accuse someone to be getting personal when infact I did nothing of the sort and you start talking shit about my wife in the same post.

Well anyway poor Mr Paranoid who always is misunderstood.
I said that you claimed that the soldier in Iraq is only doing their job, and thats still what you comment seems to say:
Quote:

The normal Police man follow orders. Just like a Soldier (example could be a Israeli soldier shooting on people that protest or an American soldier killing a inncent woman in Iraq).
The point is the normal Police man got nothing to say. He get his orders from above. From the Chief of Police and the Politicians.

You are saying that an "American soldier killing a inncent woman in Iraq" just "follow orders".
I doubt that they have orders to kill innocent women.

But in spite of that they will many times get the support for the govenment for their criminal actions, unless they go really too far and tarnish the public image of their nation too much, like in some humilation and torture cases in Iraq for example.           (``·.¸(``·.¸(``·.¸¸.·`´)¸.·`´)¸.·`´)
