No it was due to a corrupt police and a corrupt gouvernment and close to Election time... it's not "shocking" news in many countries in Europe. Especially around those borders.
I would not be so tankful to live in USA.. Your country too crak down BIG time on people that dont think the same way as your gouvernment.. it's the same all over the world. Gouverments misuse power. |

At H and A, you are right about America...It is especially sad, because we are the ones who are supposedly "spreading freedom" to Iraq and other countries around the world....What freedom? We don't have freedom unless we follow their ideas and ways......Dick Cheaney has called and personally threatended so many reporters and news organizations that have published papers or articles that don't follow suit to the administrations direction....
And the blacks in our country, still after almost 50 years since the civil rights movements still live in fear of the authorites and some won't actually drive at night..However, you hardly ever hear about that on the news.

NO NO WAY posting this topic was'nt about crying at ALL !
the intantion was to rise the subject so they should act about it ! also in other countries too...
about 4 years ago they stoped one of our parties on this beach, They were not vilent at all WANKERS YES we were accussed with using a sound system without police permit showing and selling art ( backdrops he he to deco the place ) selling of alcahol (we bought drinks for us ) and disturbing peolpe (which next abitation was 2 miles away ) all of this without the police permit.
We were taking to coart for these accusations !!!
they had no right to stop our party which we claimed it to be a reunion !
The judge, she was so pissed off at the cops and we walked out laughing free of charge ! 
Just admit it Handa they are just frustrated WANKERS ! |

These are very sad and frightening pictures.
Kristian is quite right here.
Maybe someone from the Czech Republic can get us some addresses / emails of the relevant goverment offices and so people here can write over and say what kind of image we got from the Czech Republic after seeing this and that we probably would not come to visit a place when people who just want to dance and enjoy music are treated like that, and let them know that they have just alienated themselves from all young people.
I will be also good to get more facts- I'll be happy to write something that all can use as a basis for a letter.

Now again I urge people not to say that people were killed. As far I know from the newsreports nobody was killed.. There were 50 injured people incl. Policemen. |

Good idea. I will send Tribal Vision a e-mail about it and ask them to get us accurate info about the incident and addresses etc. I think it's very good to protest but what i also think we should do is to contact our own goverments with protest letters and tell them to condemn what happened there. |

Some facts from someone who was there (not me).
The police was allready out there on Fridaynight.
The reason for the breakdown is probably not enough money paid (bribe) to the police as they do every year (sounds like Goa). This year they had it all legal so the announcement of the location was long time online, contrary to the years before where they kept the location secret. When the police wanted to stop the party there were about 500 tekkkers running into the police and this is where the whole situation got out of control. The massive fights and breakdown was heavy, there were about 200 policeman, 5000 visitors + 3000 more on Saturdaynight.
So far what I have read from a personal review, hopefully this will not happen again in the future.
Wish all the people who were there lots of support.

Well if you are closed minded and only think of my post, then no it doesn't have to do with this topic, but if you look at the big picture, you'd see that it has to do with the authorities always sticking their nose where it doesn't belong (which I feel is the reason for this post)...And it was only a response to HandA's comment......
