whats the reason? 1000 cops just woke up one morning with an extreme urge to beat up lots of ppl?

How come it's so hard to understand that the Police just do their job? They are not the ones making the Laws and the comon Policeman is not the one that give the orders to break down on parties.. It's the Politicians that makes the laws and Politicians and the Chief of Police that give the orders (as in this case) and you can actually change things by voting different at your elections and make Lawsuits at the EC Humans Rights Court of law as they also did in this case. In stead of complaing. Do something about it . Be political and use your right as citizens in the EC. We actually DO have a democratic system that DO work if people just would bother to use it instead of keep complaning 
It's not right what happened in this case but the fact is that things will never change or be better unless we change them. And by that I also mean the way too big drug abuse in our scene and apparently huge public drug promotion we do - worldwide. If we clean up our own act and really do protest properly and make law suits in situations like this then we can go a long way. Without cooling down the drug promotion and start to be active with various worldwide protest actions and lawsuits agains the gouvernments and the Police we wont go far.
We will just be a bunch of loosers who cry too much and are too scared to do raise our voice against Authorities. |

This is not my country Handa, BUT yes they should do protest properly and make law suits in situations like this ....

THANK YOU everyone in our scene does so much in their head but nothing outside. ultimately this scene will probably die if it doesnt look outside itself and tries to actually initiate some betterment of the world. tuning in turning off and dropping out did not work in the 60's, it was the political radicals not the hippies(theres a huge difference) who actually buffered the civil rights movement and the pullout from vietnam. Wake up ppl and smell the blood. theres more for us to do in the world than have a perfect trip.

It dosent matter. You too can protest and use your civil rights in your Country against the unfair treatment of your rights - no matter where you live
The point is that people have had fights for way more serious things in many countries all over the world... Even protested when it was dangerious for them and they risked their lives.... We are just a bunch of spoiled people who want it all but dont really bother to do anything to get it
I call it lazyness
And as long as we do nothing they can do what they want with us. |

Again I see BUT, BUT, BUT.... Wake up mate... Your BUT's wont change a thing... And believe me your country need a big wake up call too when it come to lazy people on drugs that cry when the Police shut down their parties.. It's the same everywhere. We have it here in Sweden and Denmark too and I am actually doing research into ways to stop the Swedish Police and the Politicians that made a law here called "The anti rave law". You see not one Swedish person did anyting to change it... They just bend their heads and take the shit....
And if we do nothing to change things now... Our scene WILL die just like the Hippy movement died out. Action speak much louder than words.
And in Governments eyes we are Criminals and I do tend to agree when we allow drug dealers (many times they are even the promoters and artists) to flood our parties without doing anything to make them stay away. |

That's sad and I do believe, they intended to create reason to shut this down.......The authorities don't understand the true meaning of freedom and throughout history have fought for ways to infringe on people's freedom to make their job and the way they gather evidence that much easier...To me that is not doing their job as servants to the people.....They think they are doing what's better for the people, but they aren't...They are violating our rights...This is sad...People should not be beaten for any reason, for doing nothing but trying to gather to celebrate art...Just like in America right now, the "administration" is pushing to take away a lot of our rights........Just the other day, A Sherriff deputy came up to our event and attempted to illegally gather evidence on private land so that they could file a report with the DA to shutdown our birthday party.....Why? Why? Why? No reason...We have never, ever had anybody hurt or have caused any inconvenience to anyone as a result of our gatherings.....Never.....Why mess with us? Because they are ignorant and don't understand what freedom means....In the Czech Republic, I would imagine the corruption is 100 times worse. No one would have been hurt at that event if they had never shown up........So why inflict pain and even death on so many people who would never hurt or cause harm to anyone....I don't care what their "reason" is, that just doesn't make sense.

BUT, the topic was about police brutality, and here I want to say once more:

I did not say it was right what the Police did. But I do see endless threads about these topics but no topics that actually come up with ideas on how to stop the Police and Authorities. Or any topics that try to unite us and actually start a worldwide protest/lawsuits. Might be a good idea .
And thats why I try to kick people a little in their "behinds" and maybe make them open up their eyes instead of smoking the next bong and complain some more
And btw I never saw any report that people were killed in this Police action. 50 people go injured. Some were from the Police.
When I got all facts straight and have looked into the possiible ways to fight the Swedish Police/Government you can trust that i will make it public here for other to hopefull follow the example.
I dont know if your doing things or not but honestly I doubt much people are doing anything in our scene |

Are the majority of the party people come from a different background than the powerful current establishment ??
maybe not.. but eitherways this is 'prejudice' and 'discrimination'.
