I did my hat parties in life
about 20 in the past as i recall
got arrested a few times
done my duty to the hat party union rofl
now i can make events for money with professional artists that want money. ok maya? |

like u said ,
1)friends party can be more than 100 people party
2)like u said yuli, money isnt a bad word, and even a hat party has a right to cover herself.
3) i agree orginaizers should help each other specially when they make quality parties but your example is a really bad one inho!really i dont belive that before friday anyone even tought my party is a problem for u otherwize u would have said something right??

If I am not mistaken I told u personally that it wasn't my business really, everyone does what he wants. I was intrigued by these SMS messages before the party. But comon do u really think I would call u to say DON'T DO THAT?
This thread is not to cry about spilled milk. It is about maybe teach all of us something and maybe we will co operate better later on. Because I think Co Operation between organizers in the underground scene is possible.
Money isnt a bad word. That is why FREE PARTY on the sms looked not so cool to me

i belive we all can end this discution, i also agree that orginaizers should co-operate.
i hope all of us trancers dj's artists and orginaizers will have a blast of a summer with only good music and quality progressive parties!!

just a small note, although it might not seem popular in this forum, I must clear to you that indeed dan, who is one of the oldest organisers in Israel used to make free parties back in the days, the fact that he developed (in his perception ) and decided some years ago to focus on commercial parties doesnt mean you can erase the past! show some respect to the dinosaurs they have also some part in the fact that todays hat parties exist (even as an alternative to the main stream events)
I must say though that back in the days hat parties were not so common as today, or trendy for that matter, but hey everything is different now, when I used to do the parties with fat Itzik (rest in peace) and david we never issued flyers nor was the SMS system existing and still we managed to bring 1000-2500 ppl to the desert with phone calls and personal promotion only.
I must agree, after following this thread from the beginning, wiht yuli in the fact that it looks a bit awkword to get sms promotion for a hat party, it "gets the sting out" (again much better in hebrew) of the pure feeling hat/free parties used to have, but its a developing world and theres nothing we can do about it i guess but concentrate each one on his own area to do the best..
Regarding cooperations and progy syndicates.. sorry but it will not happen in Israel, although the proggy scene is a bit more "normal" than the main stream one its still built from Israeli trance ppl (which are "slightly" more extreme characters than the normal international trance ppl), who are influenced more than anything from their close society and friends than pure logic (sorry but thats reality here, so I guess the chances of having a "proggy union" is more or less like the chances to see a quality act in raveolution..
again, after all is said and done I stil come to the same conclusion in the matter at hand, the southern party did not succeed financially because of wrong ,or better, lack of right promotion in the right places and dependance on non efficient sources, all 3 parties had almost no relevance to each other in terms of crowd attendance, and the chances for another scenario like that is more than possible in the future.
the good thing is that we actually made a thread thats already 7 pages without assaultings, curses and bad energy but with intelligent and constructive posts, I can only guess that a similar ful on thread would end by blockage of administrators after 5 posts maybe...
have a lovely holiday and think positive evolution is not bad is unpreventable!

well we make parties for a while now
what can i say......
i prefer to make a party with 1234324 other parties on same date that making a party with 2 parties as same date
i know my crowd
i know when we do party they will come to our party nomather what and not to dosen of others
and when there is dosen of other parties i know for sure that none of filthy crowd will apear at my party and there will be only our crowd that is mostly colorfull and friendly persons
bottom line.....
if noone apears at ur party that say something about ur crowd and how they like ur events.....
and u vote for free competition but still think that some other orginiser gives a shit about what u do or not do at same date?

5meo-geo i dont think it's the same situation cuz "your crowd" comes beacuze psyzion are the only that put that kind of music in parties, for example, if u and some of your friends have a party on the same date, not all of your crowd will come u your party but to the cheaper and the closer one but u dont work like that cuz u are united and much smaller group than the proggy scene in israel
dont be naive mate, if finish music was popular in israel like full-on for example your crowd wasnt that faithfull to you.

we r already not the only ones that doing this style
there is already 5 organisation that 'competite' for that parties
also much bigger orginisers begin to book finn artists that even we cant competite with those and we wont
we keep doing what we love most
and even if only 20 ppl come to our party we will be happy and wont be biaching in public and will keep going toward our next party

well honestly u guys never made more than 2 parties on the same date, so u really cant know what will happen, second thing, when will be the next one? it's been ages?third thing, cheers for that spirit mate:)
