I have some minor cosiderations about this issue, always paying attention to the macro view, since i dont live Sao Pauloīs scene, donīt know personally the ppl involved and Club A.
* artists and producers, are u proīs? act like so ! , as EB wisely said, cover your back before u come to play, otherwise u r prooving to be as professional as ppl that might f* u afterwords.
* is there only one agency operating in Brasil? is this the sole professional iniciattive artists can rely in Brasil?
* if u have ANY doubts about trusting the ppl hiring u, just DONT COME. Iīm sure artists can find better and well prepared and intentioned ppl to operate their business down here.
* if u come without any guarantees, u r just f*ed up, or crazy, do it as your own risk.
* Isnīt it ODD to see how much trouble this partnership is involved with? ( Level/Club A)
* Do these ARTISTS really think the better way to work their carreers and images in Brasil is performing in Club A?
* As said before, thereīs a HUGE amount of trancers that wonīt go to Club A no matter what, if u r looking for $$ rewards, we really know where u r going to play....
* itīs a SHAME to Brasilian trance scene to have 2 major names of the scene, the most influent trance club and a big djīs agency involved in international dilemas and gossips.
* itīs a shame we have to keep strugling here, to find details that in fact might never come back to surface.
* we all deserve better and reliable ppl developing our scene, itīs our duty of course to let ppl know details, but moreover, to start educating ppl about the options.
( now, iīm coming to details )
* bringing Astral to play their first gig in Brasil , in Club A, is SHAME !!!!!!! Dont u guyīs DARE to think itīs positive for our scene. Itīs positive ONLY to Club A and Level, and MAYBE to the artists, depending on their agreement.
* but again......fernanda is concerned about level.......camilo is concerned about Club A, and oren is concerned about not having trouble with his artists in Brasil, and to have their agreement fulfiled and respected.
Othar than that, is a huge TRIP, ppl......
They dont seem to be concerning about scene, names( theirs or artists ) public, or anything else.
Itīs PURE business, not always ( as it happens in every trade ) clean business.
Itīs our roloe to keep pushing this ppl and letting thescen know about any scam to RIP US OFF with entrance fees to clubs and promoters that advertise and dont respect.
* again, itīs a waste of time to discuss this or any other matter concerning deals in a specific manner.

Dear Oren Kristal,
Yes, we were an ammateur team (as every good team was someday) but you did write some mistakes in your sadly post:
1- Biodelic (Neto Nasi) is not the best promoter of Brazil; Ask what happened recently in Ubatuba and tell me later, ok ? ( http://forum.isratrance.com/viewtopic.php/topic/32515/forum/27/start/0 )
But we were weaker, for sure... I loved my party, even with no ppl at all and MELICIA MAKING FAKE LIVE SET, WHAT MADE EVERYONE BE ANGRY TO HIM HERE;
2- About the money thing, we payed 100% Melicia (and we shouldnīt since he made a fake live set and that wasnīt on contract), so what are you claimming for ? I donīt care if I lost money, but itīs not your trouble man!
3- About the Laptop thing, you are totally wrong. We asked Melicia if we would have to rent the PC (in the day of the party, we already had all contacts done) or if he thinks maybe he could use his Laptop: He told me yes, he would try to use it;
4- Now youīre correct, only 300 ppl (but GREAT ppl!) went to the party, and Melicia made a crap: WITH A FAKE LIVE SET, HIS CD WAS RISKED AND GUESS WHAT ??? HE COULDNīT DO ANYTHING ELSE.... Everyone behind him laughed at my face, for bringing such a fake live pa to Brazil... Shit happens, and thankīs God, ppl understood me this time. Next time ask Melicia to make it Live, maybe it wonīt have same problems Oren.
5- Fernanda and Melicia made a contract without my knowledge and aproovement, what was CONTRACTED between the organizers of the party and Phonokol. As we were tired of Meliciaīs bullshits, we prefer to forget this issue and not take any legal way;
6- Finally, I wish you (And Fernanda, Razuk, etc) all lucky of this world. Indeed. Because I no one wishes you, probably soon we will not hear your name and Fernandaīs name anymore: Boicot is the name for the solution, for ppl who thinks about money for every cost, for every risk !
Honestly, E.Trip was an empty party... Yes, a crap indeed ! BUT IT WAS HONEST, SOMETHING THAT SOME PPL CANīT BE ! |
