About what I would have expected, having read the reviews and the seen the discussions on here.
Great to see a good mix of both dark and light sounds

hehe strange results;) I see the topic - va no strings attached has 9-10 votes but does not appear in the final results? liquid soul has only 7 and magnum opus even less i think but both are in top5 in their respective categories?
anyway good to see some quality releases on top places, especially PS album & yggdrasounds va lost & profound

Or maybe you cant tell the difference between the best album category and the best compilation category.
No Strings Attached is a compilation those who voted it as a compilation had their votes counted,those who for some reason voted it as an album had their votes deleted on that section since this is not an album and also votes cant be transferred from one category to another.
Case closed have a nice day mate.

just for example:
ace ventura - re:boot is marketed as album anywhere i can find info (like psyshop, saikosounds even iboga rec website & discogs lol) but you still count it as va instead of making some smart remark like:

I just don't see the point where a lot of people are wrong and only 1 is right just because it's his poll :] at least he could provide definitions of what "album" and "compilation" means for the reason of getting less "wrong" votes & actually having more objective results at the end instead of having more strictly followed rules & freedom to make funny remakrs
(just for example - I count no strings for va and re:boot for album but obviously from the poll many ppl have different understanding)
also one more "mistake" - yggdrasil rec has released va in 2007 so they don't count as new label

Aegon people who cared about this poll send me Private Messages asking me if cds like No Strings Attached and Re:Boot are considered as albums or compilations,bbgun was one of them and he asked me about the No Strings Attached compilation.For the rest sorry but i am not responsible for what everyone votes and how he understands things.When you say to people dont double vote in the guidelines and they still double vote then i am not going to message everyone and remind them what they should already know.
No Strings Attached and Re:Boot where considered both as compilations in this poll,since the first is a compilation of tracks from three artists (they didnt even collaborate in any of the tracks if i am not wrong) and the second is a compilation of remixes on Ace Ventura tracks from different artists too.Things are sparkling clear and i cant understand how one could get confused with these two.
Concerning Yggdrasil you are absolutely right and they will be deleted from the new label category.
P.S Saying the word "mistake" is a personal insult to me and the people who helped me counting the votes who are in no way related to any of the labels or artists who participated in this poll and have nothing to gain out of it.I kindly ask you to take this back. Toodaloo Motherfuckers!!!!! |

just don't take it so personal - only reason I posted at first place is because I look at something (the poll results) and it seems unclear to me and since it's free forum I give my opinion (and also as you can see my first post is not insulting to anyone - it's your reply that tries to make fun of me ;> )
My point was not that this or that release sould be counted as album or va but rather that it would be better to have such definition stated in the topic itself so more people vote correctly -> more accurate results are obtained at the end (especially since you say that there were people that asked through pm - seems logical to make it clear for everyone and save your time)
anyway I got your point just don't agree with it so no need to continue this discussion
p.s. mistake is mistake... I don't see anything insulting in that word (neither I use it with insulting meaning) , but just to make you happy consider it like I used inaccuracy instead of mistake. It was my mistake to mess up the words:)
