its make me VERY sick then ppl dl music and after it bitch about it. they dont spend fucking nis for it and exept to get all. no free dinners. respect the artists u love with BUYING their music and may be then u will get more good psy stuff, meanwhile artists need make their albums more home listenable and more followed to other crowd, coze almost all trance crowd dont respect their artists. its nobody problem but us.

zombi,
you are talking about choosing what to listen to.
I'm talking about totally another thing. The simple fact that let's say SBK, not so trance new CD, is still on psyshop.com, which supposedly sells psytrance music.
I'm not bitching about SBk's music or what he chose to do - in fact - whatever he's good at and wants to go on with - peace with him.
But I guess ppl, who choose to listen to trance, expect more trance music than club music from trance artists. And when trance artists tend go clubbier, it makes ppl go questioning.
Simple fact is that trance without clubby feeling is almost dead, I dont care about artists who tend to go club.... But I also want someone to stay with us... That's what I like about this music anyway.

What I'm bitching about is that I can go to a trance party, listen to a very groovy but not-so-psychedelic progressive set (lots of P-Woland, Tegma, Ticon, new Haldolium and SBK), and listen to a very powerful but not-so-psychedelic full-on set as well (Astrix, Skazi, GMS... more than enough examples here too).
It's called PSYtrance. If it's not psychedelic, people shouldn't tell me it's psytrance.

The sellers charts of Psyshop.com (the biggest online outlet for psy) tell a different story. Nearly always the top 5 consists of Full-on records. This months top 10:
1. Astral Projection: Amen Nova Tekk 1CD
2. Compilation: Inca:nations Tip.World 1CD
3. Hallucinogen: In Dub Twisted Rec. 1CD
4. Astrix: Eye to Eye HOM-mega 1CD
5. Compilation: Jet Lag 3D Vision 1CD
6. Compilation: Mammon the dark star Shiva Space Tec. 1CD
7. Compilation: Echoes Moon Spirits 1CD
8. 1200 Micrograms: 1200 Mic's Tip.World
1CD
9. Miraculix: Detonator Alchemy 1CD
10. Cosmosis: Contact Transient 1CD
Among the best selling 10 CDs on PSyshop no Haldolium nor SBK. A label like Flying Rhino which was focusing on progressive housy tunes is bankrupt and Dragonfly faces tough times ahead. I really doubt that the 'new' sound can keep up with Tipworld or 3DVision stuff in terms of sales.

ok , Panzer dude , this frase i wrote and i better ment our forum's section ... to say psy is dead and house is all around will be quite inaccurate , so being more precise - it's progressive bands that turn toward house and not bands/compilations that u just named which made so called psytrance anyways and never had been into progressive really ... actually the Triund album i mentioned isn't a good example as well (and Eli , the reason i didn't open a post about this album - exactly my will to avoid bitching about music that i didn't pay for , well , trust me , i'll buy it asap , as some many others albums i already have , its just a matter of couple of months , at least i hope it won't take me more time to get a little bit reacher ...)
anyways .... bottom line - in order to support style u love - u need support the artist that makes such a style .... I will buy psy ... coz this is already a matter of taste ... once again , Zombi , u right about this home joint situations , Lovefield , Tarsis , Emou , probably new SBK and Halldolium (didn't listen to it yet) - more then fit it ... but there is just another state of joy (esspecially with that same joint ) when u listen to psychodelic music and imho - such a music is called trance and that direction i'd like progressive bands to go

and Zombi , don't be such a Zombi with Panzer dude .... imho u'r overreacting(a litle bit) ... the man writes what he thinks , and actually brings arguments ... so ofcourse u can take it easier
(when u say "one second" it's not necessarily takes one second , right ?)

Eli, I also think u overreacted. The guy just expressed his ideas. He doesn’t like techno or house, he thinks it has monotone tunes. It’s his right. Why stone him for that? He didn’t “talk ugly” like u say.
Btw, have u noticed the vocals on these new tracks? There are actually ppl singing.
The new Element c.d for example (also a housy c.d imo).

ok,OK its HOUSE.
and at Playhouse label party this friday at Dinamo will be playing polka and rock'n'roll (it will danceable and with vocals, exactly like rock'n'roll,no ??).
the only ones psy artists that realy got into HOUSE is a mark allen and tim healey that try to keep alive again this acid house tune. and they make it fucking GREAT.

after reading the whole thingy i couldnt resits to post a few lines.
first of all i think that its wrong when u say ticon, sbk & haldolium, just to name a few, make house music. i get the impression that u dont know what club/house/techno really is, cos these artists surely dont fit in these categories. i go quite a lot to clubs and they arent playing this kind of music in general...
i think these artists have still a lot of psy elements in their music its just different then 8 years ago... what they are doing is to include some elements from house/techno or what the f.. ever. and this is two sided there are also artists coming from house/techno who include psy elements in their music (eg: chab/nukem/marc o tool and others).
and i dont think they doing it cos of the money ,if so they wouldnt release their stuff on "psy" labels but would be trying to release their stuff on "house" labels to catch the house-ppl...
i think theyre doing it cos they are bored, like many including me, of the old sounds and the whole hippie crap that was connected with it. at least they are trying to evolve and to create something new and fresh not like many other artist which havent changed a jota (like gms, ap). u may like it or not nobody forces u to like or even buy this music.
dont get pissed these are just my thoughts

I see it as a good 'trend' since it's my kind of music. I started out listening and buying psytrance albums, but music evolve. The dark, now lame Iboga sound from 2000 is horrible if you take a listen, but they evolved into something much better, and they could stay there, here, because they know it's good now, but they can further progress, making it even better, and wider. Now how good isn't that for a label?
I love the progressive elements in psytrance. I love the house elements. Lexicon Avenue, Bitmonx, and a blend of them, is the future I want and I hope to see. This is not a hippie culture, but love for music, a music culture of the biggest.
