Make no mistake it's an 'instrument', rather than just an ordinary synthesizer

from controlvoltage on gearslutz :

I am biased of course, but I think we may have created one of the most powerful single synth voices ever with this one. To the folks who think "the modern Moogs" sound too polite and refined, lacking in edge or bite... that topic is about to be closed.

yeeah , sound promising ; i hope it s not lacking in the cv i/o departement

How come it is cheaper than the Little Phatty?
Is it missing some functions in comparisson to the Little/Slim Phatty?

smaller keyboard , probably only 4 pole original moog ladder filter and maybe other stuff ( maybe the knobs are no digital , so no automation of all knobs in the daw.. not sure dunno but that could be possible to lower the cost )

phatty will sell cheap second hand i guess in few months..
would also not be suprised a slim sub phatty come out next year or maybe earlier.

from what they say they improved the vcos and some other stuff.. but who know it might sound different than a phatty than some might enjoy more one or the other sonically making the little phatty still appealing for some.
curious to hear some demo if it sound more vintage like they say..

a bit disapointed with cv i/o and the lfo could go more in audio range with a switch like on some of their foogers.. but if the synth sound great .. it look really good to me

personally i think they missed a beat not having a small are of cv in out
like a scaled down xl patch panel

then they could have left out a load of stuff
and brought down the price even more

theres no reason for a knob per function to really have any memory
