I know he is right about this.
and this is so clear that the psytrance became better than ever! (don't talk with me about crap, becaouse those who release crap don't deserved us to talk about them)

Astrix for tiny example is not bad at all comparing to hip hop or any pop music.
and I think Infected did full on somehow, it depend about what is full on in your point of view!
Infected made great powerful with great leads andalso astral projection is full on for me (at least what they made in the past) and this is what I call good full on.
Full on for me is powerfull music and if it doesn't have good melodies and good thythms I don't even call it music!
All I know is that people here should stop crying all the time.
and Goa is always will be one of the must main part in the psytrance scene, this is the fact.
You seek for revolution? this music became boring to you? maybe you should seek other genres than psytrance. |

Yes you might have heard 1400 compilations/albums but that doesn't mean that you have listened to even 1..

FFS IE saikosounds gives you 2:30 min samples of the tracks.. is that not enough to determine if a album/compilation is "good" or "bad"?

i think there's not a single member in this forum who agrees with you that infected mushroom is/was full on.. but hey.. who gives a sht about genres..

about the 1400 albums/compilations thingy..
wow you've got gigabytes and gigabytes of mp3s! what a music lover you are! i've got maybe 30 original psytrance/ambient cds but atleast i love every single one of them. no i don't hear every single album/compilation/single that gets released but i for one don't feel like i have to. i rather spend my time enjoying the albums i've got than spend all my time downloading every single release out there to boost my ego. like you said, you are a collector, not a trancer

don't be childish...of course I buy originals also!
for example to cds I bought
astral projection - all albums!
infected mushroom - all albums exepct the last one.
orion - Artificial Frequencies
Space Buddha - Storm Reaction
Younger Brother - A Flock of Bleeps
Haluucinogen - must of his releases
sphongle, violet vision.....etc
and much more.
and I heard more than 1400 illegal releases.
I listen to something like 300 of them.
and I bought something like 100 of the 300.
stop judge people you don't know.
I will keep share always.
and BTW - you can find Lots of artists/labels and so in big big big share hubs!
as part of Rock band, I can say freely, we won't care if outr music will be around these sharing hubs.

First of all Traveller, now we are 2 in this forum who believe that Infected Mushroom is full on. In your opinion it’s not, in my opinion it is. In my opinion your opinion is biased do to the fact that you regard full on as being brainless formulated music. You clearly stated so in one of your previous extravagant reviews. That’s your right, to have that opinion, due to the fact that you practise democracy in Finland.
And you like IM thus; you don’t want it to be full on, because you only listen to “intelligent” music.
Furthermore you also regard Minimal as being an imbecile genre and that also your right, but don’t force your opinions on all of us.
I listen mostly to progressive, but I’m not blinded to the fact that you could argue that some full on could be have certain similarities to a genre which you could hypothetically call progressive Goa.
The problem with this forum is, that there is so much hate,
I like full on, progressive is so boorinng, just seven min. of bum tzz bum!!!
I like progressive, but I despise that dim-witted full on, people who listen to that genre must be dumb ass hell!!!
Last but not least:
I only like “real psy –trance”, that is the only thing people should be listening to, all other kinds of trance are not psychedelic, at all, and you can look op the term psychedelic if you don’t believe me!!!
Everybody has a right to their opinion.

ah yes you can obviously read my mind. i'm total 100% full on hater, right? then again i'm totally in love with infected mushroom, right? the reason i said infected mushroom does definetly not fall under full on category is the fact that their music is totally different when compared with skazi, astrix, gms, etc...
and those above groups are the full on groups, no? you find my reviews extravagant? well don't read them then. they are obviously not written for you if you can't really get them.
if i would only listen to intelligent music, well i guess i would be a total IDM lover then, no? what the hell is intelligent music? about minimal. i've nevert ever said that it's "imbecile genre", i have said that i find it boring due to the fact that it's minimal (read not much going on, simple music)..
yes everybody has a right to their opinion but there's no opinion with out decent arguments..

if i regard full on as being brainless formulated music and on the other hand like IM and these two were to be the same thing. why would i despise full on if i on the other hand liked infected mushroom? why the hell would i dislike pretty much similar things to infected mushroom?
to tell the truth i do enjoy full on at parties. to tell the truth i do find most full on pretty boring. to tell the truth i do think this genre has great potential. give it a few years more to develope. to tell the truth i do find minimal music very boring. why? cos to me it sounds boring. i've seen people defending it like you have to do drungs/be under influence to understand/dig it. well if that's the case then it definetly isn't that great music to start off with now is it? to tell the truth i do enjoy some new progressive tunes/albums/compilations. basicly i love psytrance. too bad most psytrance out there is only trance. i like my music psychedelic! if i'm looking for uplifters i can think of 10 better genres than full on. if i'm looking for boring stuff i might aswell listen to white noise. if i'm looking for patterns i might as well listen to trip hop..

You asked a question and I will answer with simple logic:
If you like IM, and regard it as being good music (intelligent), you don’t want to lower it to the level of full on, you stated in your review (of b something trance) as a finalizing comment the following: “if such thing as intelligent full on exists.. well this is it people!” thus stating that full on is generally unintelligent Ergo you make a mockery out of full on. End of story. Full on is many things not just skazi or astrix. Sub6 is also full on, according to me at least.
