rik: like rippa said...this idea went out of control. the www is over 15 years old now...
this times even "newbies" were able to use connections of providers for free...today, newbies can copy music and stuff...maybe in 20 years it s over cause we all are hangin on the same server, usin same tools...offtopic...

e.p.s: don t judge me...i m not one of the traders...i ve got more trax on cd than on my hds...

i think, you're all barking at wrong trees. the labels, by being a part of the music industry, are killing the music as much as those groups and p2p's do.
i mean, everything depands on your point of view. you can look at those groups as the robin hood's of music. breaking the monopols of the labels and giving it to everyone... etc etc.
that's one side. on the other hand no labels... no new cd's from our fav artists, no new upcoming artists....

and whats the bottom line?
we the artists, dj's and ppl who just want to keep this scene alive, need to understaned that fighting the mp3 mafia thing doesnt mean taking the corporates side of ....mp3 bad! napster bad! etc...
after all, the one thing we all agree about is that the artists has to be paid fo the music they give us. so that the thing we should fight for... not labels interest or free dl....
as far as i'm concerend, the 1 good thing the mp3 mafia does is forcing a change on the music industry. a change must come... and it'll come from the mp3 scene direction. once ppl got used to dl from the web, there's no way they'll stop out of the sudden, just like that because it's wrong.... true?

the solution, IMHO, has to be paid dl!

i hope i made my point clearly....

peace

I'm sorry to tell you, but you're stealing. And there is no monopol of labels. How are the labels monopizing the scene? High prices? That's about to change, if everyone will follow Universal Music.

Exactly. So why they should buy cd's if the price is lower? The solution is to stop trading.

I'm not going to pay for something which is not physical and I can not put on a shelf. Sorry.

They are... heroes!!!

Oh poor labels...

Just answer me smt... Is lack of $ that's making much of the music sound the same and artists that used to be good become lame, and every release only changes the name and both full-on and proggy fans complain about no new game?

Aff... MP3 is killing the muzic alright...

Don't they release unreleased stuff? HOW COULD I BUY IT? U talk and talk about artistic ownership and all I hear is I DON'T WANT U TO HV MAMUSIC!

Well, there r some heroes that do... and in fact, they r working for you! We are the one massive, and we r eveywhere... we are all one... pp should be glad they sell 1 cd... they sold it to everybody that exists...

There r some labels thought, that do their job nicely and beautifully, but, this ones u usually don't see bitching about music sharing...

Can u hear ur selves... U'r complaining about sharing!!! So we shouldn't share food cause the farmers would brake? We shouldn't share medicines cause of the laboratories? Well world has changed my friends, and though I love u all, those who insist in being in the way will be ran over by the galactic conspiration...

My venuzian two cents...

Brazillian government has a policie of breaking medicines copyright for public distribution. they hv been doing it for about 8 years I think... now a days laboratories give huge discounts, like 80%, cause they know it's about what we would spend to hv it anyway...

it's a bright new world my friends!

Sharing food won't make the farmers broke, because you have a constant need for food, and you consume it.
Once you listen to a song, it doesn't delete itself, and it stays on your hardisk.

Yes, mike A, as always u hv a point...

But again, the world has changed, in an open marketed globalized informal economy dominated world in the age of knowledge where to buy or what to do means everything, and cpu data is knowledge... It's a non-consumable good, ok, but ahhhhh blablabla... U'r a clever guy, u got my point...

The world where I wanna live in, I'll would e-mail u asking for ur music and u would send me a Full length Full quallity Full-on Inovative morning sound... and u'r as always wellcome to help ur self with anything from my fridge. Capice?

Althought it's running quite low right now

That's true, until your first hard disk crash...
Back to issue: these guys do what they do best, but what they do best is against Isratrance filosophy...
Again, like Miraculix once said: "you can't stop them!"

But there got be some money (or strong influence) behind it... How these guys gather the music they "publish"on the NET?
Ah! They are the music producers... They create the music, release it on the NET, on a label and play it at parties, so they become three times as famous...

well mike, i thought you're a reasonable person, you seemed like you got some sence in you.
c'mon i'm not buying the robin hood shit i wrote there. (i was just trying to show what COULD be the justification of the other side...)
indeed i'm all against the way the music industry functioning. BUT, i'm not gonna fuck up the artist i respect.
GET IT?
for god sake, when i say there something wrong with the music industry it doesn't make a thief or a trader.
once and for all you gotta get one simple point, which is:
mp3's kill the music, but rightous ppl like you help diggin the grave!
you can't stop sharing, but you can try to convert a fair amount of ppl to stop sharing by making the real mc'coy more affordable...
i'm talking about a fair share of the cake,
not stealin the whole damn thing
get it?

you strike me again...
don't get me started with the list of "not physical" thing you pay for....
music is as physical as it can be whether it 0's and 1's on a cd or your comp. don't you think?
so what physical you pay for someone puttin the music on cd for you, to get it delivered?
you wanna have the cd cover amazings artwork? go to a gallery and buy some paintings...
i'm here for the music!

just stop lookin at the world only in black and white. the fact i dont wanna buy a cd for as much as 15 euro doesn't make me a thief!

and if this is not enough to make you understand my point....
well, shame about that....
i'll stop bothering you fron now on...just don't make an ass out of me like you're trying to do. ok?
