Yes no offence to Astrix or Alien Project or anyone else artist,i just came up with a name who is hot in our days.

Well the whole mp3 mafia thing might seem funny but it is very serious since these guys release all the music on the net and are harming both labels and artists           Toodaloo Motherfuckers!!!!!

harming the artists? in what way? is it by exposing their new traxx to thousands of ppl all over the world maybe?
it's not like the labels are paying the artists so much money, if any at all.
I think this is a bigger problem for the labels, not for the artists.
well, I wish the labels luck with this war, though I do think they are wasting their time, and actually lost this fight long time ago.

and btw psycho_mushroom: Astrix makes morning music as far as I know, and has nothing to do with night time music.

Yes. Their tracks are exposed, but no one pays for them. With all due respect to artists wanting to get exposed, they do need to make a living and they do need to pay somehow for those nice monitors and synths that they used to make the track you love so much.

How can they pay the artists if they don't get enough money to cover their own expenses? To you a release may look like just a list of mp3's, but a release is the cover, it's the plastic, it's the cd's, it's the egar used to master, it's the posters & stickers, and it's much more. All of this costs money.

I wish you to fully understand the consequences of your downloading, although it seems like a lost cause. (no offence)

I think you are barking at the wrong tree dude...
I buy when ever I see a cd that is worth buying.
unfortunately, I don't come across many of these, but I did buy 6 cd's in the last 2 months alone.
anyway, keep fighting my friend. good luck.

Oh no, this is turning into another pro/contra mp3 discussion... i *think* we had that one already...

bholenath: about the informed bit - i don't have a clue what those groups have been up to since late 2002, but i'll admit that at the time i obtained quite a lot of music that way - prior to that date... which i've been purchasing since then (ask my local record shop).           www.psytracks.com :: Brand new website for sharing your psytracks with the world. The whole idea of the releasing groups was to keep this scene elite and underground like it was few years ago , as time passed by more and more pepole got involved in the scene , which made it alot more commercial then it should be , p2p programs like kazaa or soulseek doesnt help , and the scene stuff is all spreaded there , the whole idea was to share music all around the world with pepole who can bring music aswell , elite pepole , now no more elite just big commercilizim
and stuff is spreaded all over the net and hurt the labels and artists , if youll read some nfos , the groups demands to delete the files after 24 hours to help the artists.           I'm The Superviz'a Can I Get The Taxi Numbah?!

No offence, but your post was the largest pile of bullshit I've read in quite a long time.
Releasing groups is to help fight commercialism? I'm sorry to tell you, but if you look at albums it usually has a label of a label on it Now, a label is not just a nice logo or name - it's a commercial company made to make profit. New to you, eh?

Elite just like it was years ago. Years ago there were no sharing programs. People actually bought records. So it was a lot more commercial back then, no?

...it s the same as with warez...if u use it a lot - buy it.

...but the problem is that this ( damn good ) idea won t work in our world...

bom           experiment !
make it your motto day and night.
experiment,
and it will lead you to the light.
the apple on the top of the tree
is never too high to achieve,
so take an example from eve...
experiment !
