Israeli members racist comments on party reviews- is it really necessary?

HandA, myself, being a left wing Israeli extremist I will put this in other way and lets see if u find it racist as well:
I hardly can remember a party where group of drunk Arabs, or drunk Jewish dudes that belong to the so called 'Heavy Ars' community didnt make problems - and problems are:
Fights, Stabbings, abusing women, Breaking in to cars in the parking lot, Selling baloons, and there are much more.
I myself almost was raid over by a car with drunken Arab Israeli's as an organizer, and only because the bouncer that was with me was Arab himself helped me to get out of the situation. In other case my partner almost was knifed with a 20cm kitchen knife by a baloon dealer that was a heavy Jewish ars.
I dont think I went anyway around the racist area in what I have said.
I personally know more then a few Arab ppl, and we are friends and if they were members of this forum, there is a chance they would say the same things about the Arab gangs killing the vibes in many parties in certain areas of Israel.

My point here is basically, i don't care if youre an arab, swed, six foot giant or a raging feminst as long as you come to party.
If you came to wreck shit, i dont like you.
Now, ive seen this kind of behaviour from mostly arabs and shimons. Im not saying ONLY they behave like that, and im not saying thats the ONLY way they behave, im just pointing out what i see.
I suppose guys from the party production and elite psy killah party goers will not like an arab face in their party for those reasons, even if he came to have a good time.
I DO NOT share this view and i do not think its fair, but i dont know who to blame.

And one thing more:
U must understand, that after one person seen same incident few times too many, happening by ppl that belong to certain community or ethnic group, stereotypes might occure. Those stereotypes are not necessarily on racist basis, but on the simple surviving thing, that nevermind technology we will always have left in us.
Sorry all, but I DONT want to go in a dark alley and walk into a group of Jewish or Arab arses, never mind the religion.. When it happens ( very rare these days - I try to avoid dark alleys ) I feel uneasy since I have no idea what will come out of it. And many innocent ppl were heavily hurt by this kind of ppl for simply walking too near to their gang.
So, if that is racism, I guess I am racist.

Yuli I know your not a racist and I never said that. And yes some few Arabs can cause some trouble as well as some few isralies can.
But maybe just maybe some of you guys (not you Yuli) should sometime consider to change your retorik a little bit when you mention Arabs 
And dark Dork vven if your not a racist the way you write stuff about them can bee seen as racism.
That was my point and I also believe it's the point of the original topic starter. |

The guys you just described, I dont care if they are arabs or jewish, I dont want to see them in partys! I dont like going to partys where people come to start fights and thats it! I say, if you want to come to dance and for the music, have fun! I wont judge you no-metter who you are, what you did and what ever, but if you come to the same party that I am, and youll start to make a mess there, I Will judge you, no metter if your are an arab or a jew!

but if they come to have fun and dance i really dont care about them

I agry with mat n on this one.
I think that if the ars/arabs in this party did any proplems then yes i think we should write about it in the froum.
but some times ars/arabs are in some partis and they dont do anything worg just danceing and still you get those ppl "says there were so many shimons it was disgusting" i think if nothing was wrong there is nothing to talk about as most of you says that its if they only came to dance they are more then wellcome.
i also see ppl look at some ppl photo and write that those ppl are shimon/limor i think its realy bad what if this person wanna look here in some pics from the party he went to and see that ppl laughing about him. |

HandA - please come over here, live here for a year and go to parties every weekend - I'm pretty sure you'll build your own stereotypes by then.
There is nothing racist about me being worried/uncomfortable around people who are making trouble. It can be anyone - even crazy drunk russians.
Somehow, maybe to you it seems unreal but it is, these troublemakers are usualy Israeli Shimons or Arab Ahmeds, and asking 'why' happened too much wtihout an answer for me. When I say 'usually', I mean alot of parties I've been to - I can't develop a statistic report for you here, actually I'd wish there would be such a report. You ask why would ppl come, get drunk and start doing trouble?
I can never say, every arab/shimon do this - they are all the same, because it is simply untrue. These claims are not coming from a racist direction. I'm sorry if it seems this way to you or others, unfortunately the reasons for these violent incidents are completely true - and not prejudice consumptions.

now you forget i have been to israel frequently since 1994 and also lived there for a while... not long but still.
And if you care to read what I wrote corretly then you would see that I am not saying anyone here are racists. I said as Mat N also pointed out in his first post that the way some of you write about Arabs and at the same time forget to mention that other people incl. israelis can be toublemakers too. Can be misunderstood as racism. I hope you got my point this time? |
