come on you make more in 1 h then a normal working person.
the problem is that you cant work ass much like you would if you hade a normal job.
but you are wright as an chill dj mostly you dount get paid to good, but this will stay like this except you play for fashion and art events ore become a artist and sell your music.
for me its a plesure playing, and for my life i have to work .           Dubfix Chill-in-or stay out

I agree... if you seek to live off your income from dj'ing then that does put a lot more pressure on something that most of us do for the love of it...

Nanda - how many dj's are represented by the booking agency you work with, and what is the minimum requirement for both dj's and artists in order for them to be represented ?

my posts are just my opinion... it would be interesting to know how it works in practice for a booking agency -

Andrew,
right now we are 5 DJs and 3 Live Acts but all a bit stock
and the reason its basically about fee and the way to work with them.

DJs have so many differences in what to charge and way to work so do are live acts.. .. then its not easy even when the mission right now its standarize (in some how) the work of DJs and yes.. try to put a balance between the different live acts price.
in my way to see this..
its clear that we have to keep the spirit ON bcz if not.. its another feeling for do the work. our idea its not make anybody more famous than other.. its just the way to make a bit more professional and ofcourse.. make the things easy for the artist represented.
but then.. 1,000 Pounds as a fee for a live act.. still difficult and i found it a bit expensive. just calculate that in Euros or in US dollars.. its a lot for a DB act!!!! isnt?
many ways.. we are working on this

PLUR
