This is a big forum with many members and in need of many people who have to help run it and i guess some money expenses like every website out there.
I have been a member of this community for many many years and i always respected the people who started this forum and from time to time i remember both Shahar and Shivas to mention that this will always remain a use free community with no ads no subscription or whatever.
Ofcourse these discussions took place 7-8 years ago and since then a lot of things have changed including the fact that most of the old members (including people who were actively helping running this site and even the founders of this place) have either stopped being involved with this forum or are very rarely seen online although the second group i guess still help one way or another to run this community and offer their advices.
Isratrance had/has a lot of potential to make a lot of money but the people responsible for it never,and correctly in my humble opinion,used the power of this forum to earn something out of cds/parties and festivals advertisments.
I mean i bet my life that if an organiser had to pay 1000 euros in order to be able to advertise his festival in the festival section then this forum just in the summer would make at least 20-30 thousand euros just from this function not to mention the cd and ordinary party releases.
Noone ever did such a thing neither used pop ads of cds or moving advertisements on top of the page for various parties or whatever.
Things have changed,the site needs some money in order to upgrade and to run properly and instead of asking us the simple users,who should be grateful using this forum for free,to pay any money for this cause the people who run this site decided to add some ads for those that are not logged on to the system in order to make some money and cover the forum needs.
Noone should complain about that and noone has actually the right to complain about that.
Actually there is no reason for anyone to complain about that since its something that everyone can avoid by just logging in while browsing the forum which i guess is what 99% of the users do anyway.
The forum is still free,fast,easy to use,informative and ads free for the registered members.
Thanks everyone involved for keeping it this way.

First off, who the hell are you to tell me MY RIGHTS?
I get your point, but please stop talking like the embodiment of god.
If you really want to know why I complained, although according to you there can be no valid reason, its because
a)I work with (not in) the advertising industry and have had bad experiences with Googles ad programmes.
Because b) I loved having isratrance ad-free as a reflection of psytrances general unconventionalism and not being mainstream.
Because c) I often access isratrance from various computers without my username and password stored, so I got used to not logging in and being able to read the board ad-free.
Because d) I dont enjoy having to log in if I quickly want to be updated on an interesting thread and having to read a 'Make money from home hassle free' ad between the posts of a 'trance and spirituality' thread.
Because e) I too have been a member of this board for some time and remember Shahars words about it being and staying ad-free.
But as I said, I see your point, am probably in the minority, and will have to log in from now. But please spare me my bill of rights.

Since you already see my main point and you understand that you belong in a small minority that has a problem with this new feature (which i repeat is something that can be avoided otherwise yes there would be a major problem) i cant understand why you stuck in two words.
Everything i said in the above post is MY HUMBLE OPINION and ofcourse i am no authority here or God or whoever.I find it childish for anyone including me having to start a post with the words "In my humble opinion" so to let everyone else know that the words written are just an individuals thoughts and beliefs.
To finish with this for once and for all,the site has needs and its needs are much more important than our two seconds needed to log in and avoid any ads.
This forum has more important problems than needing to log in in order to avoid some ads in a corner.
Lets focus on those problems rather than spending energy complaining and analysing things that shouldnt even be mentioned IN MY HUMBLE OPINION

Ive had my smoke and espresso, am now both chilled and jittery, but the fact remains that I am allergic to getting orders on my behaviour. Taking away someones right to complain, especially on a DISCUSSION board, is what I would call childish - where humbleness comes into that is beyond me.
I want to remind you that when I posted this thread I didnt know that the ads can be avoided by logging on.
I also said that I expect some improvements if the ads continue, which we are seeing with avatars for example, so maybe its not all bad. Although I bet that avatars could have been implemented anyway.
I still stand by my opinion tho, and perhaps this 'minority' is growing, with a large UK/Israeli promoter wondering wether to post his party at all because of the ads:

This October IsraTrance celebrates its 10th birthday. I think it's time to change direction. We never asked from anyone for anything (neither putting our URL anywhere else or opening donation page) We try to survive and even to expand on our very own selves. Sometimes i just want shutdown the server instead of reading different "imho" opinions. So pardon my french, I will second what i already said: Anyone is welcome to leave or log-in. More discussions won't change a thing, unless we find some millionaire to invest in the project ;-)

I know that it is an "security thing" to be logged out auto. if you haven´t been active for X-minutes... but in my case those minutes is to short... and I´m still active when I´m about to post a comment, so why does I keep getting logged out so quickly? 
Wasn´t like that 2-3 months ago what I can remember...
