I was wondering, why do u ppl think that the brazilian trance scene is so addicted to the full on style?
My opinion is that the scene is still young and full on is really easy to connect to.
Plz guys, share your thoughts on this one. :-)

Well yossi, u are kinda right. I'm one of the ones trying to break the boundaries here. But one thing is "all Full on" and another is "mostly full on" and that's the case here.
btw, come to brazil. lots of great parties being cooked here.

Most brazilians on the isratrance forums are from São Paulo, and whenever I go to São Paulo it's true, full on is all around it's the number 1 style around there. Now when you look at Rio de Janeiro, progressive is really the number 1 style here look at DJ Cicero and Matera as an example, those guys play mainly progressive tracks and they're the most respected DJs here in RJ. Cicero and a friend has a project called Neurose, they're producing great progressive tracks , there's another project here called MPA with Nano and Manique, producing high quality dark progressive tracks, and they even have a live PA. In fact I don't know any artist from Rio de Janeiro producing Full on stuff.

Hey Karp i agree with u on the Rio de Janeiro thing, but u gotta agree with me that where most (and i mean MOST) psy fans are is in são paulo.
And Luiz Tosi, no problem with full on, the style itself. But some problems with going to parties and only hearing full on.

Here in Rio we have something really nice...

I mean the party starts at 12:00....

from 12:00 to 4:00 AM sometimes untill 6:00 AM only progressive trance DJs.... and then when the sun starts to come up the madness starts and the full on does too.

At least that's how I like it, progressive at night and full on at daylight.

You guys have other ideas? please share.

Luiz I know São Paulo has a larger scene and such, but you shouldn't understimate Rio de Janeiro, we have something strong going on here, and BTW you're invited to come and check it out :)

Well i think that's just the "full on time" in sao paulo.. in some time ppl will start to listen, understand and then like the progressive style, like i just saw some "full on maximal" buddys starting to love the proggys! :-)
well just my opinion!

So Hawk, u kinda agree with me on the novelty opinion i have...it might take, but some day ppl might enjoy digging as much as i do. :-)
Karp, be sure i noted your invitation. That's sth i'm working on bro.
And i heard some of my wishes are about to come true: Sunset Rec. and Medium Rec. label parties are being cooked. Stay tuned.

Karp...how about Lorenzo´s project? I think it´s quite full on.... I´ve heard Rica playing a guitar track he made that was full power! Not my cup of tea though...

hawk r u completly right, its a full on time, but i think the full on scene its very strong on Sao Paulo, i dont know on Rio, but i think the Rio isnt better than Sao Paulo coz there play Progressive Style.
and i think the progressive style its more dificult to understand.
Keep Walking.
