Good track obviously, but a bit generic like nothing really new, actually has a very oldschool feel to it

...yawn... nothing but standard full on, nothing special (to me) bout this track - bookface what oldschool feel are you getting from this? to me this is nothing close to their music from years back, its closer the the 3rd pleiadians album rather than old etnica sound - this is exactly what i didnt like about their performance @ ozora this year

Yes, its a good track! But it could have been done by "anyone" really, if you know what i mean. This is the problem you have to deal with if you are one of them old guys, if the track ain't groundbreaking in a new specific way that takes you back to those moments you had with them back in the days but still with the new technology baked into it AND is awsome, people will just throw tomatoes. It's a rough life for beeing awsome for a decade or so

cheers!

Where are the new techniques, the spectacular new developments in sound ?
This sounds like average production to me, nothing breathtaking, almost as if they were lazy or something when they produced this...

If they started out now without a name like Etnica as newbies and presented this track, they would be nowhere at all, people wouldn't give much about it, it would be like : nice track dude, now get some more action in there!

And that's my verdict too, get some action and excitement in there dude !           Upavas - Here And Now (Sangoma Rec.) new EP out Oct.29th, get it here:

Bullshit, ask OOOD , they seem to be doing just fine, and contrary to Etnica after hearing this, I very much look forward to OOOD's new album !!!           Upavas - Here And Now (Sangoma Rec.) new EP out Oct.29th, get it here:

Apologize for my skepticism, but this tune is nothing really exciting... It needs many listenings before it starts to grow on me. No instinctive feeling or something we could say "whowww, that's THE shit"!

Etnica's production is still on top, but inspiration is not that it used to be. Don't bet too much on their old fame and try persistently to convince yourself that they still got it after two decades...

I disagree. If this tune was filled with unison leads, glitches, never ending risers and was generally filled with cheese, then I would say that it could have been done by *anyone*.
Production wise this tune sounds phat, and although there is nothing groundbreaking about it, it keeps the drive and is not crammed with stuff in to impress the *producers* amongst the listeners.
And yes Etnica do enjoy the "priviledges" they get for being on the ball in the trance scene for almost two decades. And so they should.

,imo.

Although I have grew to love their music since the mid/late '90s, I don't think this is their best to work...but I also don't think that anyone has been making music like this nowdays, even if its not groundbreaking.
I wish this was the "average" tune people would play at parties.

Peace out.
