I disagree. If this tune was filled with unison leads, glitches, never ending risers and was generally filled with cheese, then I would say that it could have been done by *anyone*.
Production wise this tune sounds phat, and although there is nothing groundbreaking about it, it keeps the drive and is not crammed with stuff in to impress the *producers* amongst the listeners.
And yes Etnica do enjoy the "priviledges" they get for being on the ball in the trance scene for almost two decades. And so they should.

,imo.

Although I have grew to love their music since the mid/late '90s, I don't think this is their best to work...but I also don't think that anyone has been making music like this nowdays, even if its not groundbreaking.
I wish this was the "average" tune people would play at parties.

Peace out.

Well if you like this, get Vengeance Clubsounds, a gate and happy producing, yes it has groove but is in no way adherent to the times we are in now.

And as far as the privileges are concerned...
WAT
...

Produce something noteworthy, and you'll have my respect, 20 years or not.
You do DH, and you have my respect, but this tune, common.

I am glad that this is not the average tunes on parties, not because it doesn't have glitch and super leads or what not, rather because this has been done so many times now, it is time for something more fresh! Phat or not.

I just love this UNIQUE Etnica feeling, fast pace and oldschool goa alien melodies that always sound fresh though.

One of the few great groups/artists left in this scene along with the likes of Logic Bomb, Prometheus and Tristan.           Toodaloo Motherfuckers!!!!!

I don't understand how people have the nerves to say "This is Etnica, for gods sake"

Does Etnica have holy status or something?
Do I need to bow down to average tunes now, because the name Etnica is involved?

It's not about music hating or bashing anyone, and it is definitely NOT about dubstep.

I am not even saying it's a bad tune, all I am saying is: Do something new, this has been done over and over and over...

Grow up John Doe, for gods sake

Seems like the cap fit...

What I meant was that this track is very much what Etnica is all about. Every artist have their own style. Deep baselines, groovy melodies and amazing leads.
Not to mention the fact that there's so much crap now-a-days that it thrills me to listen to something like this. That's all I'm saying.

And maybe (yes, maybe) I was a bit harsh. But the fact is I'm listening to this track on a daily basis. So guilty here!!

And BTW: I hate Dubstep...

Why? Does making music involve an explicit term that you need to make something new or groundbreaking with every new release? What about making the music you like without caring if its new or not, and what about the people that listen to this music and have heard the "new" stuff, yet don't like it?
There's a niche subgenre on neo-goa or whatever they call it, that is a strong statement that people do tend to re-create the sounds they loved, without caring if its new or not.
Yes psy-trance involves people pushing sound design to new territories and Etnica have pushed sound in the past to new territory, if you followed their output over the 15something years, you can tell.
You can't deny they have their own style and they have that something that makes simple things, sound real good.
And these tunes definitely don't sound like they were made by anybody, not because there are complex layers, mad FM effects or anything very *impressive*. They have simple idea without the bells and whistles that a lot of people add, in order to sound "new"...Its just a really well made track that (in my case at least) makes 8 and a half minutes go by very fast.
The vibe of the tune is psychedelic, something I cannot say for an awful lot of the new stuff that comes out.

Peace out.

The music is not all that bad. However is not something which would make you go WOW.

I like it never the less.           Mushrooms make you do crazy stuff. Look at Mario he jumps on animal heads and fights with dragons.

it could work great with the sun awakening .
in a way better nothing new that work than new stuff that don t !
imo it would be even better if it was more goa

what i miss is a more experimental touch like in mind altering drugs for example or like in their old tunes
