All styles of music have innovators, mainstreamers and those who remain saying the old days where great!
The innovators create the music in its pure form. No reflections, just creation. We can see originality, style, expression and individualism. They are the discoverers, visionaries, the true source of inspiration. Usually innovators create without any expectation of anything in return. This is what they do.
The mainstreamers are a tad late in the game, one step behind. They are a reflection of the innovators. They expect some kind of gratification for their creation... but that is in esence their job. Whether is capitalizing, stardom, a following... their mission is not in the art itself, but making the creation for a minimum common denominator for a larger number to enjoy, and therefore greater gratification.
So will psy trance make it to the mainstream... Of course! Just listen to the Matrix soundtrack |
