DJ`s who cant mix!

Lately ive been to too many parties where i hear famous dj`s who cant mix worth S**T!! They shouldnt even call themselves a "DJ". It just pisses me off when i hear a dj just wait till the track ends and then presses play and puts in the next track(what happened to tempo and beat matching, the cut and throw, melody mixing?). This is something of the psy trance scene, in other scenes such as hard house, hiphop, techno you never see dj`s like this. How can such people become so famous? I just dont understand why organizations dont call DJ`s who can mix. |

i think the monitary consideration is at large here. most DJ's who CAN mix often charge plenty, if they already made a name for themselves. other DJ's Made a name for themselves using good PR and a few good things in their career to make them worth the while. that's how u become famous. |

look, i agree with u on 100%, but if u will talk to old german goa freaks u will hear that they want it, they like it and they think this the think that differ between other scenes and trance scene. i think that dj's that play realy goa trance can do it with minimal mix technique coze the point there is the STORY u tell and not a mix. for not erease the story u play it from the beginning to finish and then press the play on your md/cd. the new trance (last three year) more techno/club/house then old goa music and the scene of goa trance for me only memories.
after all i prefer techno trance and knowmixing dj's. |

coffee mug - agree with u on 100%. but then i was yanger i was crazy about ppl who played goa trance - Miko,Jorg,Itsik Ben Isti and others. they didnt knew to mix but they was only mans who played this great music. so, big respect to all the ppl who didnt mix but started the scene of our goa style. |

ther is meny meny meny "djs" here in israel
they buy 2 cdj and they think thet they are the
master of mix ,but they are normaly nothing.
they have nothing to do whit music,they know to mix (same of them)but not the music.
mix is samthing thet you can lern at home
but music,or you got the feeling or not!!!
thet is whay the partys in israel in the last
4 years looking so bed, most of them.
hop will be good partys like it use to be whit
good craoud and beter djs |

guys thet orgenise partys are giving ther friends
to pley cuz they are friends" but they forgot the
mein thing: "THIS FRIENDS ARE NOT A DJ".
when you going into partys and pey 80-100 shekel
you like to hear GOOD MUSIC samthing whit a story
and not bed music whit bed mixing from :"ho ha dj"
when we understend this the partys will be good!! |

maybe a mix is something u learn at home but 90% of the trance djs i listened to it didn`t learn it. i can count on my little finger the number of djs who can REALLY mix. this is the entrance level for becoming a dj. after that u get the fealing.
so start learing... |

i still sure that feeling and mixing its different things and one not bring the second...
esspecialy today that all kid have tons of quality music they cant play good set coze the trak choice is soooo bad usial. good trax but not good set - paradox... |
