ok i got a conclusion:
there are 2 kinds of people
1. people who buy cd's
2. people who don't buy cd's
and u can't change that
there are people who will always buy cd's
and those who will never buy cd's.

i got about 18 original cd's, and i like trance for about 1 year and a half.
i like to buy cd's

yes, we get music for free. but me, and i presume Andres, also Buy CD's. saying that there are only two kinds of people, those who buy and those who don't, is just plain narrow-minded imo.

its true......there are different people.....i dont get anything for free, and i buy CD's sometimes.....
but i cant buy every cd that comes out, so i buy what i like since its very expensive for me

LyTe is right, we do get music for free but its not like im in contact with the whole world... i do buy cds... Alot of cds actually... Theres so much good music out there... And yes it is so much more fun to actually have concrete things, MP3z are abstract... u cant touch it u cant feel it....
I love to buy music, i support the scene, i love the scene, i wanna keep it alive, there for i do contribute by bying cds and soon enough also sell them...

i love buy Cd's also.......but i cant get every 1 that comes out, i dont have any connections with others people who give me music 4 free (and there are many people like me).....the only music i get for free is the tracks i create by myself.....
so let me ask you a small question : im getting out of money soon, i dont have a job , and my army service is going to begin soon.......i cant afford bying any CD's, should i stop listening to music at all?
i love the scene, music...and i want it to continue buy more if i can....

60-80 nis is a big expense for me in these days......
i cant do it a lot so, soon i will not be a part of the scene i guess...(can you give me a solution to my problem?)
if i had enough $$ i would buy lots of CD's

sound surgeon, you know how many CD's i get in a month? about 10. you know how many are Trance CD's? about 2. out of all the bundle, 4 are single CD's. so, i buy what i can with what meager means i have. some times it amounts to about 3 cd's a month. some times one. but i do not feel the urge to buy every new one that comes out, simply because it's being unprudent. i buy what i like to hear, like MFG's the message, Dark Soho's re-release, BLT's Presence, Infected's classical, Juan's, Atomic's Powder, Atmos, son kite, all paid for in full and the list goes on. i don't download MP3's since i belive it is hurting the artist's status and sales, which will deprive any new music from me, in plain english.
so yeah, some people get freebies. but not everything is recieved or precieved as a freebie, cause i don't allways write about what i like (usually in the summer i am getting all those MTV shits for hits albums for free.. anyone wanna trade spots?).

i dont have the urge to buy every single album......
but there are some that i do want to buy, not only new ones but old as well....(examples Beat Bizzare - Lewd, Classical Mushroom.......and more ).....
but since i turned into a trancaholic i need to listen to new tracks, the only thing that i can do is selling my kidneys and spending the money on CD's.......i dont thinks there is something else that i can do to satisfact my appetite for trance...
but the army will hold it for a while for sure

Most of my money goes into CD's, because it is important to me. I don't have a lot of money, but music is an absolute priority to me, very special. I wouldn't feel good if I would just copy or get them from the web, it would be almost like a sacrelige, .....
