Though i agree with you....i have to say that the Mubali set in Boom covered all the areas you are talking about...clean sound, massive bassline, hypnotik but with a sense of construction(build up)...i was really impressed and inspired. I guess is record will be very worthy to check and buy

also in fullmoon he played a very serious live....he is more oriented towards the parvati sound tho....(top notch nonetheless)!!!= forest music!!

layers: i love OSOM and psykosky (doesnt get any more multilayered) production....
but what jelly achieve is a more hypnotic sound.....and no artist followed this direction i think...its a different tripping...where very deep levels are reached...with osom on the contrary is a spaceship direct to pluto after a rollercoster thru blackholes...!!
i think their last cd having the same bassline exmplifies this....!??as soon as i hear their sound im in the trance tunnel...
so both sub sub sub sub^100 genres are good with production.....but which one you prefer when dancing/tripping/trancing/sitting down smocking one...??

been listening to jelly headz lately and well its hard to say but the are way way better then when i listen to them 2-3 years ago...some details ive missed 
ofcourse i liked the album (who didnt) but now it just sounds too yummy

hehe quoting my own post now, cause i have some good news for diehard Jellyheadz fans: both guys, Karim (Jelly) and Fabio (Headz) will perform live togheter again on june the 6th 2009 at the Doodleheadz party in Belgium. Will be the first time since 10 years they will perform live togheter with lots of old and new stuff an exclusive night so

For me, Polyphonia, Derango, Gregh on Earth, Jelly headz, Penta, Ocelot, KDD, Psycovsky, Mubali, Fraggletrollet are some of the best producers.

psykovsky rules in twisted production....
highko rules in fast and glitchy production....
KDD rules in Dance and stompy production.....
Furious rules them all.....
