best production?? (night/twisted music!) = imho Jelly headz

many topics highlight the new projetcs etc....but what about the psy institutions that have been producing at the top level for years....very little info/ talk about them....(apart from the usual kdd, psykosky recently, ocelot, penta etc....all extremely talented/ unique artists!!!...that i love)
imho jellyheadz are above most in terms of productions and effectivness in this genre of music....but i see little new artists heading towards that direction...(tightness in basslines, build up, progression, deep psy ambient, hypnotic melodies....jelly style....)...this is not to criticize the newcomers or other artists....just to give more credit to who needs it....
they released few tracks, they did a cd with the same bassline,since 2000 they released an ever evolving array of twisted tracks(i think last release was under many faces with dejan= also extremely twisted well produce music) but the quality is always at the top of the food chain!!
.....but play in very few parties around....why?
so..... i think they really are the best, underground but with quality...unique style!!....what about you...??
(topic made especially in regards of the many comments: night music lacks in quality?!)

If its bout newcomers I dont know how new is overdream , polyphonia and fraggletrollet but i find their production excellent compared to many many new V.A´s that i have purchased in the past year.
Some of the V.A´s have really really bad sound... almost so that I have a fear already settled in me that most of the V.A´s this year would have the same problem. Defi. a downer for the dark fans. I think with all the reviews this year... I would be closely monitoring comments written on how clean the album is, cause however great a track is, it just doesnt connect when the percussions and basslines arent fat and chunky and cleaaaan. A good story to the track may be everything, but to produce the cleanest sound is everrrrrrrything else.
As for twisted artists wid super clean production would be digital talk, ghreg on earth and entire 2007 I havent seen any artist come even close to that quality, I could only wish they hear our voices for a super future

thats what i was talking about...this "cleaniness" in production.....(even if the traxk is twisted and dark or whatever....)that improves quality not only of the track but consequently of the "trance"!!
i think on the "lighter/easier" night side genre, more than digital talk (also a true master but not as constant in the production during the past years, and too similar in the releases) GOW have been the true pioneers.......now in this style (most) parvati artist lead the way.......but in this case many producers followed the steps of the grapes and now sound too similar to the originals......they "created" a style...lead the way...

Interesting topic. Id want to mention few names here who i think have very clean production and the quality. This is just an opinion and in no way any assault to any other amazing artists out there that i have unknowingly missed out. It is just a matter of time and experience and talent of course.

Nope - they were in Australia 6 months ago and rocked the dance floors up and down the coast.
Hmmm - who do i think has the best production---
Electrypnose - very clean and tight
Xatrik - Not so dark, but still bloody clean
Terrafractyl - an aussie producer of morning psy - unbelievable production techs.

well i have been lissening to jelly headz for a long time now , and no doubt its powerful alien music with its own patterns and shapes 
but these days if ur looking for best twisted / night music producer , i think lalith aka alien mental aka sonik scizzor is on another level alltogether
music made for turbo & Funktion One soundsystems as well as deep mind trips .....stimulation all the way

Also, some of you guys might not remember that Karim was part of Droidsect... those guys turned me onto night time music...
Polyphonia's production is really really good, clean yet powerful.
Some of the newer stuff I've heard from Savage scream is really really good... Kind of a different style in some ways to some of his other stuff, but he's developed a good groove too on top of the craziness he's always been good at.
But for me, strictly coming from a production aspect, the parvati crew definitely knows how to make their sounds crisp and clear, which is something you don't learn overnight. It takes some people years to get to that point, and some never even make it... Most of the time when it comes to production, you have to ask yourself... How do I transmit my idea in the most clear way so people can understand it even in the worst listening circumstances? No one plugin's gonna do that for you. No preset chain can do that... You have to work at it. And that's what really separates the wheat from the chaff. Oh... and back to Digital Talk... it was them who kinda helped convince the grapes to adopt that newer sound that Tits on Fire had and that all the newer stuff has, so thank Luc and Julien next time you see em.
