I live in the UK and by far the best 2 record stores for me are http://www.amboworld.com and http://www.chaosunlimited.co.uk

both deliver the very next day, and the always pack the package full of flyers and posters etc..

also very friendly and down to earth staff. been 100% happy with them for years.

Well the thing is... that happily there remain a few artists who allow you to do that.. but a few only !

ah yes, the good old days when psy/goa-trance was rare, and only a few artists released albums. These days, we have to be careful. But still, I havent bought a album I cant like. I'm looking for Adam Shaikh (spelling) album.. Anyone got some usefull info on him? I tripped to his music on Ayahusca. And jesus, he really sets you in trance. He really scared me in the positiv way. made me think alot, so I would like to buy his music..

I've only really used http://www.psyshop.com/
and they've never let me down over the last 3 years or so.

I just wish they'd put a bit more promo stuff in with the package like stickers, flyers and stuff. Maybe some sort of loyalty scheme wouldn't go amiss either.

Anyways, psyshop deffo do it for me (insert thumbs up smiley here)

re: digital downloads

I'm finding that shop prices for MP3 versions of albums are way too high. I think $10 is about as high as they should go for 320 rate MP3, *unless* they start including hi-res package art with the music. Some shops are selling MP3 albums at nearly the same prices as full-quality CD releases, yet they include no artwork.

This has been happening over and over to me at Beatport, Iboga, etc.. Yes, MP3s are a good way to distribute albums, but gouging the consumer is not cool.
