Please help, i wanna buy my first monitors and i wanna to waste my money better possible, to make psytrance, techno, electro with reason 4 and ableton live, there is one friend saying the adam 7 are ugly but are the best ones saying adam is always better, i'm confuse that adam has better frequency response but the woofer texture is realy wierd, what should i buy around 350 euros ? my audio interface is m-audio 24/96.

Thanks.

I'd stay away from Behringer. A7 is much more than 350 isn't it? Heard Event are ok, i would go for alesis in a really tight budget, but i don't have any monitor experience, just reading around           Monitoring devices, know where you go

ok, from my experience TRUTH's are a bit harsh but people do use them..

the ADAM's have greatest reputation in electronic music making.

the ROCKIT series, imo, are like buckets that make random sounds.           extreme

I have truth from Behringer and they are good!

Definitely good bang for the buck, considering the low cost. And absolutely good enough for electronic music, provided you have a subwoofer.

Behringer is out of the question. KRKs will be fine for your first monitors..they've done a lot with the second generation of Rokits, but saving for the a7's will be worth it in the long run.           You believe in the users?
Yeah, sure. If I don't have a user, then who wrote me?

or have a look at the event tr8 or also the tapco s8 (tapco is a subsidiary of mackie)...
both far better than the behringer and also quite cheap!

I really like the A7s a lot... but I also had the KRKs and was really really suprised at the clarity of the mixes I was doing on them. I've owned Mackie 824s and the Alesis m1s and other stuff, and for the money the KRKs are actually quite nice...

If you have the money or can wait a little bit longer to get them, the Adams are frackin worth it. But if you are impatient or on a fixed income, I like the adams... I got to hear the tapco ones very recently, I think at Brain Train's house, and they are pretty nice, but I can't give a professional opinion on them yet.

Behringer are not at all out of the question. They are good for the price and definitely allright for electronic music. I find them pretty equal to the KRK mentioned here, with one difference, the price tag!
